I know there are Chinese shops than can be accessed for information. I'll have to book mark a couple next time I'm on my computer. Have you checked taobao for info?

Looks the same. It might just be the angle of the camera throwing us off. However, it looks like they did a lazy job on the breasts

. It doesn't look as nice as BD's that way.

While researching stuff for my anthro doll project, I found a store on Aliexpress that sells both the regular anime dolls everyone knows from BD and 1AM, and this model you show here.
After asking them, they told me it's a different model by another maker.
The height of these varies between 130cm and 140cm, but unless it's flat chested the breasts don't look that good, I agree!
But the feet look better than the other model, in my opinion, and they say the measurements can be customized too.

I don't think I can link here because it would be a link to a store that isn't Beautiful-Dolls' and I think that isn't allowed, right!?

I think I know the aliexpress vendor you are talking about. I actually emailed Beautiful Dolls about it, myself. Joy was as helpful and quick as always in responding, saying they didn't carry that style doll due to its cost (if I remember right, was over a month ago).

Due to its cost? But they cost just a little bit more than the other doll model!? At least from that store's prices...
How is that a deterring factor?

Well, anime are hand made. They don't always look the same. I think someone asked for a slimmer body. We can arrange it if somebody is interested.

Not trying to necro, but I think this is pertinent information.

That other type of doll is really more of a decoration doll, it seems. It's quality is definitely lower than what Beautifuldolls sells, and now I can see why they wouldn't carry it. For the same price, or less, you can get a higher quality doll.

That other doll type has a wire skeleton. The eyes are pasted on rather than sewed on. It doesn't come with an insert. Indeed, it doesn't even have a place to put an insert.

Anyway, if you're torn between the two types, go with the doll Beautifuldolls carries. You get so much more doll for your dollar.

Edit: Upon closer inspection, I did find the insert, pre-installed, under the cloth. o.O

Conversations I've had with Chinese doll owners has enlightened me with the idea that many Chinese purchase dolls solely for coseplay and photography. I know folks do that in other countries too, but I think this doll may very well be made for fun with photography. She certainly attracted attention here.

Seems like a mini, loli version of the anime fabric, site is in japanese. I think it may be a scam because these dolls appear to be selling around 2000 to 3000yen, which in USD is $16-27 approx.... waaaaaaay to cheap.... If I am wrong though, would love a kawaii loli doll.
