Hello Rollo62, the doll skin color is not colored. Her original skin color is black, and normally we will add some realistic body painting like textures, and details on her feet, hands and armpit position.

as we are both non-native English speakers, there was probably a misunderstanding, and I don't understand your answer. My question was, is the silicone of the doll colored, i.e. pigmented? If the silicone is not pigmented, it is white or grey. Now, if you, after casting the doll, which at that time is white or grey, paint it with black colour, this thin layer will rub off after some time. The results are unsightly white or grey spots on the black or brown doll. You could prevent that effect if you mix dark pigments into the silicone, as a number of manufacturers do. Do you put pigments into the silicone before casting the doll?

Hi! yes, we put pigments into the silicone before casting the doll to make the wheat/tan/black skin tones.

I Agree thou, that they could be darker.
And I personally would like more prognatious faces, since I like african ethnicity dolls.
