The background noise is a fan
The clicking sound is the speed key similar to a car key fob
The slight noise you hear as she picks up speed is the motor, not loud at all not very noticeable.

Yup, quiet as, so, non-metallic gearing.
Good for quiet running and low weight.
Lubrication, a completely sealed unit?
Give this 12 months to see if any problems appear
