Hi Everhard,

The "African skin tone" looks light to me on your pictures. (although despite that she's very beautifull!!!)
I've here a picture form the R.I.P. B2H6 doll that was sold by Slade to Mickey47 aprox 3 years ago:

It seems to me that she was darker than your new doll.
It also shows how vagina and nipples were done by Abyss on African skin tone dolls at those days. It looks different than on your new doll

It is difficult to judge true color from photographs, but it is of course possible that the Realdoll African skin tone is a different color now than it used to be.

My new doll is the color of milk chocolate rather than plain chocolate. But a fairly dark milk chocolate... This photo is about the right shade, at least on my computer:

In the close up of her shoulder, she looks much lighter than reality.

Hi Everhard,

Maybe it are the lightning circumstances then, that let her look like not much darker than Helen's skin.
We've had a very cold spring up till now in EU, and we've had a lot very sunny but too very cold day's here (wind from North or East ... and freezing 6 - 7 degrees!).
It was very sunny too those day's ...
Maybe weather was still that weather at where you live in England when she arrived there and you made pictures in that very sunny light?

We had sunshine and the cold north-east from Sunday to Thursday evening, when the rain started. Today, Friday, when the new doll arrived here at Spepford-on-Sea, it has been raining on and off all day, but not heavily. However, it was fairly bright at times, but not sunny.

I always overexpose rather than underexpose, probably my reaction to all the years of using a film camera when they always processed it too dark. That's one of the great things about digicams; you don't have to rely on those bar stewards at the film processing companies.

It was here the morning bright for the last time, just past 12 it started to become rainy... winter is over the freezing cold is gone, and it starts to become spring now.
But we also get rain ...

Any way the new pictures of your latest doll are very nice...

I think the African skin tone hasn't changed.
The appearance of any skin tone depends a lot on the light. Here you find some pictures of the same body 8 I took: New Body 8 straigh from the factory

Except the second picture all were taken with flash. You can see the difference.

The pictures never do the skintone any justice. The african toned RD's are dolls that you have to see in the flesh to get an idea of their skin tone.

I moved some things out of the way into the loft to make space. Also, I bought one of those huge boxing punch bag hanging frames like DaveC and Kharn use. However, it is itself too space consuming in the bedroom, so I will put it out in the yard when I get another wall bracket. I can use it in the yard for standing poses, although I need to make a center-of-mass hanging bracket like the one DaveC made for Claire Marie.

Thanks Everhard, that's good news. I always thought 5'5" would be a little on the short side for such a well-built lady.

Sounds great, that length, she's almost 1.80 m then?
Those RD's with little blemish are a great deal too (2 K off newprice + benefit from latest skeleton technology is great!), great to have Thomas around here.

Looks like Everhard started a little war, so many planes he put into the air...
