I am new to this community, a bit iffy
WM dolls seems to have alot of good reveiws, especially after looking over the site.
Still, this is my first time wanting to get a doll and it would not go over well for possible future purchases if something goes wrong
there are even "problems" with paypal and seen to much scam on ebay, let alone direct bank wirings ( with i have never done before, but sure there are some risks)
better to use paypal? what would the best way to purchase be?
read a post that beautiful dolls is an authorized retailler of WM and they accept paypal
it would be great if i could hear some stories of experience from WM doll owners and doll buyers
decision to purchase....process...etc
Prospectively speaking, i'm leaning on further purchases if all goes well.....
Can never be too careful

DON'T: Wire money to unfamiliar people
Sending a wire transfer is like sending cash; once it is sent, it is usually disbursed within a matter of days and gone forever. As a result, a wire transfer should only be used to send funds or make payments to people and businesses that you are familiar with. Avoid using this service to send money to strangers, especially those in a foreign country.

- Directly from the doll company (DollSweet, Orient Dolls, RealDolls, etc)
- Directly from Vendors (1AMDolls, BeautyDolls, etc)
- Directly from members on these forums
Safe, but More Expensive than Vendors:
- Kanojotoys
Do NOT EVER buy From:
- Ebay
- DHgate
- Alibaba
- Other auction sites
*I put 99.99% safe for these ways because there's always a chance Customs, depending on where you live, might hold your doll if they find a reason to. This is the ONLY reason.

I don't have any experience with Beautiful Dolls, but I have purchased a WM Dolls 135cm doll from Brent at 1amUSA. He was very helpful answering questions and responded to all my emails in short order. (Some have questioned whether he sleeps at all.) I ordered through an email to him, instead of the website, so I could customize some things. I received an email invoice from PayPal and paid with no issues. The doll arrived about a month later. I was very pleasantly surprised with how soft she is. In fact, I've ordered a larger WM Doll through 1amUSA again.JZ318 wrote:read a post that beautiful dolls is an authorized retailler of WM and they accept paypal

There is some mention of Beautiful Dolls setting up a showroom in Pennsylvania. And a Forum member named staycool64 has been pursuing being a representative for WM Dolls and having them available at a location in Florida. If you live near either of those places you might get to see and touch a WM Doll before purchasing. I have a number of dolls from different manufacturers, and I love them all, but the WM Dolls are the softest, most life-like to touch, and most affordable I've encountered so far.

If you are not familiar with these dolls, and their manufacturers, you will only feel calm after reading some topics on the manufacturer's forums. It won't take that long. You can easily ascertain the nature of a company's trustworthiness by scanning the first page of it's forum's topic titles.
For instance, do you see a lot of topics with scary titles like: "It's been four months, where's my doll?" or "Just got my doll, what a rip-off!" ? Or do you see what looks more like a bunch of happy doll owners discussing things like breast size options, and insert comparisons?
The vendors and manufacturers that have forum accounts here at TDF have been deemed legitimate. You will receive your doll. There is, however, much more to a purchase than just receiving the doll in the mail. Make sure you understand the weight, size, capabilities, and limitations of dolls you are considering. It's your money, and you can't really ask for a refund.
Best luck!

It's smart to be cautious when making a purchase of significant $$. Take your time deciding.
I moved this thread to Dolls in General as multiple vendors are being discussed.
Have fun shopping!

Re: I am new to this community, a bit iffy
Sure it's always a big decision to buy an expensive item, $6k is a lot of money. But I had no worry or concern sending them that money. I only decided to wire transfer after I knew that in the case I lost it all it wouldn't matter a whole lot to my personal finances. Sure it's bad, but not something that will cause me to lose my home.
Nothing is 100% safe in this world. You have know there are risks in everything. There might be tiny tiny chance that there will be a Wall Street crash that will affect all sorts of industries, and banks will go bust and all the money I sent will be lost. I mean some things are beyond control and imagination. All we can do is do our due diligence, research what is safe based on past experiences, and other experiences.
But, bottom line, if you're not prepared to lose it all, that is in the case all that money vaporizes somehow, then don't take the chance if that's somehow going to utterly destroy you or your finances.
In any case, you can always ask here.

That's my tenet.DollAfficionado wrote:BD will take care of you. BD acts your agent in purchasing a doll from the Chinese manufacturer. While you might be able to order a doll a little bit cheaper directly, you DEFINITELY want an agent when you are ordering a doll from halfway around the world in a country where you don't speak the language. If there are any problems along the way, BD will handle them. It's like buying insurance in a way. And of course BD inspects the products fully before shipping them to you.
