Ruby 13 may be for sale again for $1000 (Sold)

Due to some shipping scheduling issues, the doll may be up for sale again. Please see the previous post in the 'sold' section for pics and details. I'll try to notify others via PM that were waiting in line to see if they still have interest. But after this previous sale attempt, I see that I need to clarify some things, as follows:

1. Cannot ship with US Postal service. They will not pick up the item because it is too heavy and I have discovered that the box is just too big to fit in my small car.
2. I work long shifts (9-13 hours) per day and the days vary, so it could take up to a week before I can stay home to wait for the pickup.
3. I cannot schedule any shipping until after payment is received, so if you send a check, we will need to wait until the check clears.
4. I will allow pickup from my home, but only AFTER payment is received. No cash in hand pickups, for security reasons (I have already had one doll stolen... never again)

I thought some of these were issues that most people would understand (I didn't know about the post office restriction) but my apologies for not listing them in the previous thread based on that assumption. Thanks.

$1,000 for a Ruby-13? It's a damn shame I'm not interested in her. There was a guy here who wanted a free used doll. If he can scrape together a thousand dollars, he's got it made. I don't think there will ever be a Ruby-13 this low again. You're practically giving the doll away. She'll be gone by the end of the day.

FedEx will pick it up from you if a small courier fee is paid. I imagine UPS would, too!

Welcome Big trouble, one way to PM is click on profile at the bottom of uch's post and then click pm. You can also just click pm at the bottom of his post.

I agree with that... I've never seen a Ruby in great condition selling at this price...

Just to provide some clarification, I am currently waiting for a response from the current buyer. Due to complications, two weeks have passed and I have yet to ship. I don't think he wants to wait another week, despite the low selling price. So I have offered him a refund. This sale is pending his decision. That is why I added the numbered clarifications. I have had shipping issues and scheduling issues (some shippers will not pick up on weekends, while others that will, will not pick up heavy items, etc...) Sorry for all of the confusion. Thanks to moderators for helping make my thread easier to understand.
