Indoor Montgolfiering with Lylis and Miss Elisabeth

In The Style Of King Tut #2
same tableau, shot from different angles.
this time with a storyline.

“Weeeee!” squeaked Lylis, as the balloon rose slowly ever higher, carrying her delicate frame with it on a journey of discovery, high above the landing.

“Oh, do please be careful!” Miss Elisabeth cried out, as her best friend Lylis floated up ominously close to the ceiling.

“Oh Eliza, don’t you worry.” Lylis chided from behind her wide-eyed grin, “In any case, I know you’ll be there to catch me!” and Lylis let out a disarming chuckle.

Just then, of course, a ripple bobbled its way across the skin of the balloon, causing Lylis’ body to jerk:

“Whooaaahh!”
Instinctively, she gripped the knot of the balloon even more tightly, as her makeshift flying contraption skidded across the top of the ceiling: the delicate friction causing the balloon, and thus herself, to start slowly spinning in a clockwise direction, bumping in a sort of uncontrolled slow-motion across the rough texture of painted plaster.

“Oh my!” Eliza cried out, impotently raising her arms even higher until the tips of her fingers started to tingle.

“…uhhh….Eliza?” An ashen-faced Lylis mumbled, as the balloon skidded ominously close to the rather hot halogen spotlight in the middle of the ceiling. “Maybe you should go find Kiko and ask her if Cosy owns a ladder or something…”

“Okay, my dear.” Miss Elisabeth sounded quite relieved.

“Uh. I mean. Like, right now?” Lylis was starting to feel rather dizzy...and that lightbulb seemed awfully hot…

I wonder how many helium balloons I would have to tie to a Teddy-Babe to make her float.
I would say about five balloons could lift one pound, so if a Teddy-Babe weighs twenty pounds, I could probably get her airborne with about a hundred balloons.

I wonder what peoples' or kids' reactions would be, if I were to perform this experiment in the park.

I have better idea. I could fill an inflatable doll with Helium. I wonder if it would float. Now that would be interesting to do in the park.

I know you'll miss making the high-voice prank calls, but you have to get rid of the helium tank.

It's just too dangerous for BJDs.
Luckily, Miss E has some sense about her.
Nicely done, Cosy. Thanks.

...............I'd hit dat

You do know that this would be a perfect photo for the October "B" category photo challenge, right?

Yeah, I could always just resubmit my September entry, but I think I might get in trouble with the guy running it this month
