The Album is now exactly back to the way it was.

N.B.: Broken links have been fixed!

The Doll Album is back and better than ever... now with more vitamin B12 and folates.

Even better... Have you ever been sitting in your office late at night, exhausted from a long day at work? Have you ever felt like your fingers are just too tired and/or rotund to right click the image to get the image URL to copy into a post or share with your Internet friends in chat? No?

This guy has.

Even Lindsay Lohan likes it! See?

You will now see a dropdown box with a link to the photo page and the "embed" link to put the photo in a post or copy into chat. It's so easy a pop starlet can do it!

See that box in red? To copy the URL, just click in the box. Use CTRL-A to select all the text and then CTRL-C to copy it to your clipboard. You can then use CTRL-V or right click and select paste to paste your image.

All the cool kids are doing it. You should too!

This is indeed, very nicely done!!

At first, I was wondering why my own album didn't have the copyright watermark, while all the others did, but then I noticed... it was because I was looking at my own pics, while I was logged in. When I logged out, the watermark appeared on my own pics as well.

Genius!

I also noticed a small disclaimer at the reply screen about the attachments

And as far as I can tell, if you embed your own pictures, it won't show the watermark, at least, this picture should be without:

Ahh, I see what's wrong...

The embed link automatically seems to use the normal_ prefix, but in your case, the pictures are small enough, so they aren't resized by the Doll Album, therefore they don't have that prefix.

In your case, the link should be: http://www.dollalbum.com/dollgallery/al ... 04Bike.JPG

I guess the web guys need to check this.

Not that I fully understand all of that,..

I have been resizing my pics before I put them into the album to save time, also speeding up the upload time.
I take it thats why there is some different code,..?

sigh,..
And I still can't post till this is sorted,...
Well I'm confident the tech guys will get it sorted soon.

playtime, campdaan, Alex - The problems were already noticed and were being worked on. We just needed to catch some needed rest before we continued. Should be all ironed out by later today.

Alex - You are correct in that what you embed won't show a watermark because YOU own the pictures and control what you release with a mark. If you should want to post a marked version instead you can embed the version as a logged out user. Hope this helps.

I don't appreciate the sentiment there. Yes, your pictures currently have broken links; it is being addressed. It wasn't something that could be addressed until the other change went live. It's not something that could be replicated on the test site.
