Decision making: 157B, 162E, 166C

Post by thazehase »

Hi everyone, i need your help in deciding which doll to buy next.
The 157B, 162E and the 166C are on the menu, the problem for me is... the weigth.
My current doll it about 25.7kg/56.66lbs (manufacturer) or 28kg/61.7lbs (some retailer). The weigth is fine, i can handle her, depending on the dolls or my position, more or less well.
The 157B is 28kg/62lbs (what i found on the retailer sites i looked at + the site of WMdolls) and i found one site that listet her with 28.6kg. Here i think the 28kg are very save to be accurate.
Next is the beloved 162E at 35kg/77.16lbs. I also saw her at 39.9kg/87.96lbs, which definately would be to much for me:cry: but at the same time, if i could handle it, would bringt the 172D into play:lol:
And for last, but not least the, by all loved one, 166C. Which i found from 31.4kg/69.2lbs to 33kg/72.75lbs.

So, after all this information, my question is, especially for the people who own several dolls, at best the ones above  , how do they compare when you go by weigth and how easy/hard it is to move them?
I am absolute certain that i can handle the 157B, so i would go from the position of comparing the other to to her.

To everyone who tries to answer me, thank you very much in advance! :)

I can tell you that my 162E is NOT 87lbs. No way. She's definitely in the 70's. If I get a chance to weigh her over the new few days, I'll confirm.

I did all the weighing for the official measurements on those dolls, with head attached, so they should be accurate. Some variations from doll to doll will occur, in both directions, but it should not be more than 1,5kg.

Hi there, that weight of over 39kgs for the 162E is definitely wrong and probably a mix up with the 156H which is about that weight. Certainly the 157B is a dream to move about, if only all dolls were so easy! To me the 166C and the 162E feel about the same when lifting and moving although the 162E is about 2kgs heavier I believe. For me personally both those bods are within my comfort zone whereas the 156H is getting to the upper limit (although totally worth the extra care needed!). Over 40Kgs then I am more cautious and my 45kg gal mostly lives downstairs!

Thank you all very much so far.
I think the question of the weigth is answered. Now i need the experience in moving them  that´s the hard part and the one which concerns me the most.

Me personally i felt the 162e was much heavier than my 166c
I've had a 166c that i play with a lot for almost a year
After the 1st day of owning a 162e my arms and shoulders were aching
If i could go back in time i would probably get a 157b if im honest
The extra kg's do make a difference during playtime

I completely agree with bigchilli, I own a 166c too and she’s heavy for me and I’m regularly down the gym powerlifting. I’d of got the 157b in hindsight just because of the weight factor.

I have both the 157B and 166C and can HIGHLY recommend either.
It's true the 166C is a bit more cumbersome for moving around a great deal, but she's still great!

You mainly questioned weight, but between those two another issue are the breasts. Both of my dolls are the newer softer TPE blend, but the 157 has solid breasts and the 166 has hollow. Don't get me wrong, both feel great. But the hollow C-cups on the 166 feel much more squishy and jiggly. Much more realistic, in my opinion.

I get you guys. The thing is, i really.. i mean, REALLY, want to get a taller doll than my 145cm, with a little more breast and maybe a little more ass. It all comes down to the handlingdifficulty of the doll.

At the moment i am leaning more to the 166C, but i am also looking into other dolls, that go near the 160cm mark (better abouth), without going over the weigth of her.

Well if you like the height of the 166C but would prefer her with larger breasts then you could always do what bigchilli did for his Mia. He gave her a simple boob job with eye popping results! I've tried it with a couple of my gals to a lesser extent and it does work if she has hollow breasts. Incidentally, the 166C has one of the cutest back sides you could wish for, my Magda's feels absolutely real and looks incredible!

Yeah, i saw his work, looks good, when it isn´t to much, but i would be scared to damage her.

If you use a 21g needle through the nipple, it doesn't show and they don't seem to feel it, (well I've not had a complaint yet!), I angle the needle up slightly to find the air space, sometimes this is necessary if a breast gets something pressed against it during shipping which causes an indentation.
