I've been visiting these forums for a week or two, now. May as well make an introduction in the designated thread. I'll try not to be too boring

So, I've kinda been wanting a love doll for quite some time, now, but it was only recently I've had the means (and the courage) to get one. A few days ago, I ordered an aimee doll from 1 am dolls. I'll start by saying 1 am dolls is a great vendor, and being based in STL, a short drive from home, I not only got a great deal, but got to support a local business to boot.

Second, I'll say . . .

AHH, it's been only 5 days since I paid for her! And they've been hell! I can't stop thinking about it. How will I last another month? Yes, I obsess much

But, I'm guessing I don't have to tell you all how that is. You've probably been there, too.

It's interesting, though. I haven't even received her yet, and she's already being a good influence on me. In preparation for her, I started (gasp) cleaning my room. Do you know the last time I cleaned my room? I don't either! I've also had a huge decrease in porn usage. I consider that a good thing, I think?

It's also been a while since I legitimately felt excited for or looked forward to something. Who'd've thunk.

I've enjoyed what I've seen of this forum so far. You seem really supportive and respectful of each other. That's pretty rare for forums in general. I hope I can contribute to that environment.

As for the boring particulars, I'm 35, from Missouri, USA, and haven't met a woman I've been interested in dating in over a decade. And that's ok. Dating is expensive, and I'm a pretty selfish person to be honest

Yeah for sure, waiting is the toughest part. But it makes the arrival that much more special. I hope you enjoy savoring all of it.
When she gets there, make sure to take opening pics, and then post some pics on here. We can't wait either!

A very warm welcome to The Doll Forum. As you have already noticed we are a very friendly forum and a great deal of respect is shown between members. It certainly is a great place to hang out. If you have any questions while you are waiting about care or preparation for your new girl just start a thread. The waiting is very hard but you can use that time on here to learn a few things which will prove useful after she arrives.

Welcome! My first doll was from 1am as well, a 100cm Riley, and they have been just so great throughout the whole process, even responding to my inpatient inquiries. Yeah, it's funny how not even having the doll home can make you be less of a bachelor already! Well, I hope your wait isn't too painful! I'll tell ya, those last 12 hours are fucking murder!

I can totally understand your feelings about the wait. Currently I'm in the same position as you. The day always run similar to an end. Sleeping, eating, working, wait, read the Doll forum, wait again and hopefully fall asleep quickly.

Here in the forum you can learn a lot about the handling of your doll.
And if you have any questions, you get answers here in the forum. The guys here are all friendly and helpful.

Thanks for the welcome! I plan to spend some time looking through the maintenance forums, and will ask anything I need clarification on. It seems a doll still needs some TLC, if of a different kind than a RG.

Thanks for the welcome! Oh no, don't tell me that xD The first 12 hours were murder...what will that make the last 12? Heck, the few hours between when Brent said he'd send me an invoice and when I received it were murder. I must be cat to be murdered so many times

Thank you for the welcome! I know, right? I bought a few things already based on the measurements listed in the Doll Matrix, but limited myself to one dress, one night gown, and some underwear for now. Gotta resist the urge until I can measure her for myself.

Some folks respond better than others to the melatonin pills. You could try valerian root, if you really want to calm the nerves some. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Valerian_%28herb%29 I had to rely on this stuff while my Ivy was in transit.

Congratulations on your order, and I wish you luck with a safe and uneventful delivery. I also wish you success with getting what you want from the doll when she arrives. It seems as though your head is screwed on properly, which helps tremendously. You use the "lol" smiley a lot, and get away with it nicely, which indicates intelligence. Aimee is one of the cuties, for sure. Nice and cuddly!

I hope your doll experience exceeds your expectations! It seems many first-time buyers find themselves disenchanted after realizing their expectations were too high, but those of us whom I would call "the lucky ones" find that the honeymoon doesn't have to end after the newness wears off.
