Ivy - A re-homed 158D 6 month review of my first doll

Ivy came to me in May of 2022 as her third (3rd) owner. Maybe not prime review material as an older model, but it may benefit others thinking of giving a home to an older doll, as well as exploring what I did and didn't like for future consideration.

Ivy is a Sanhui 158cm in silicone with head #32 (#7 named Bryony)
-Vintage mid 2021
-Head #32 with movable jaw (#7 fixed)
-Gel Breasts
-Soft butt
-Soft tummy
-Soft thighs
-Standing Feet with bolts
-Fixed Soft Vagina
-Flexi skeleton
-Textured skin
-Permanent nipple and vagina coloring
-Wire fingers
-74lbs\33.6kg (specs indicate 68.3lbs\31kg

I'll go into more detail on things but if I had to summarize every feeling into one line...
I'd get Ivy again, wire fingers and all, because her breasts are just that perfect!!

Perfect I admit is a strong word, and I concede it is only my opinion.
I'll cover the breasts first since it risks my credibility with the rest of this review to use the word perfect.

The Breasts...I considered three things here...looks, feel and feeling.

Starting with looks, They are large and beautifully shaped without being to large for her frame. They are a pleasing teardrop shape with enough mass that they sag slightly when upright and flatten a little when she's on her back.

Feel...soft and yielding with just enough resistance to let you know you are squeezing. Nipple and areola are slightly more dense as you might expect a tightened nipple to be. Nipple is solid enough that if you cup the breast in your hand the nipple will gently but firmly remind your palm it's there and doesn't want to be ignored.

Feeling...thrilling. This is completely a subjective personal response. More than any other doll Ivy's breasts always give me a thrill. For me the size is just right for caressing, and the nipple has just the right firmness to let you know it's there and tempt you. Ivy is my semi-permanent sleep companion due to the wife's health and Ivy's breasts are almost always the final stress relief before slumber

Not convinced...other thing to consider is they are large and full enough to give Ivy a fourth option to entertain me when pushed together.

I do have to admit in the end the perfect may not be totally accurate, the nipples are losing some of the coloring, and my constant groping has smoothed out some of the textured skin effect. I consider this more against those options rather than the breasts though.

Ivy's head is the soft silicone version of #32 with the movable jaw. She has a very sultry look to her like she is trying to entice you...score a win for the sculpting artist here.

The movable jaw moves easily and stays in place. The teeth are firmly set, but have enough give to not interfere with recreation. Oral is a option with this type of head. Even though the depth is fairly shallow, it does not reduce the enjoyment if you play within the limits.

--- The one negative would be the attachment. It uses what appears to be a nylon or Teflon compression band on the bolt. Once this wears over time the head freely spins fast enough to give Linda Blair vertigo. Currently I cut the pinky off a glove and slip it over the bolt to control the head rotation until I find a replacement or better option.
It's annoying but not a turn off, just a maintenance item.

Skin and overall body feel.

Skin texture is very touchable. Only needs a little powder to have a silky feel that can be relaxing or exciting depending on your mood. It's natural and hard to even know of you are feeling a texture...until you feel an area where it has warn off. The most noticeable smoothing has been in the underside of the breasts and the butt. I use the term noticeable since you can tell, but you almost have to be paying attention since it seldom catches my attention if I'm not thinking about it. Had to use some weird lighting, but I think I captured a little of the texture detail.

Hands and Feet.
Hands are well detailed and well constructed. Ivy's wired fingers have stout wires that work well within the standard silicone hands. As an older model it does not have the hard silicone starting to show up. Changing the wires for articulation would be the one thing I would change about Ivy. that being said, with care the wired fingers are not as easy to poke through as other hands can be. Ivy gets a lot of attention as the primary spoon and she has only had one small poke.

Feet are standing with bolts. They are well detailed though only the big toe is separate, the other four have partial webbing between them for support. The trade-off for that barely noticeable webbing is articulation wires for both the big toe and the second toe.

Ivy came with the options for a soft butt, belly and thighs.

I like the way the butt was softened. Ivy kept her hard little ass, but it was softened just enough to have some give. It is squeezable not squishy like a breast.

The belly is the one option I might not choose in the future...I wouldn't turn down a good doll if it was there, but I don't think I would pick it myself.

The option results in very unsightly bulges in a number of positions. This I could likely overlook, but the real issue is Ivy has a significant tear through between the belly gel cavity and her vagina.

I'm waiting on my scope camera to attempt a repair to seal it. Based on a look using a friends scope the tear has been there while and growing. The save is that the belly gel is pretty much also a solid so it appears the tear just created a larger area to be cleaned and dried. With this recent find Ivy is on limited duty until she's all healed.

Soft thighs are a good thing, and Ivy's live up to the desire. They are soft to the touch and squeeze and provide a little cushion when needed.

Ivy went natural with a fixed soft vagina located in a pretty little mound with nice if understated labia. Visually and functionally Ivy meets every need. As someone who likes to open their present every now and then, I'd have liked to see a little more definition to the labia area to improve it's feel, especially through a layer of cotton or lace.

It is incredibly soft while still keeping the underlying texture. Hard to tell if the anal opening is the same softness given the tighter opening. Both do what's expected so we'll just leave it at that.

Both openings are showing some signs of early tearing, but nothing to serious. With very good fortune the vagina is tearing up while the bum in going down...maybe a little good to balance the belly tear.

Joints.
A year or so into life and most joints are holding up with reasonable holding power. The exceptions are the back which is loose and the two knees which are kinda loose. Ivy can stand, but it pretty much limited to supported vertical. Lean much forward or back and she slowly bows.

Final thoughts...Ivy was my first and will always hold a spot as a favorite. This review comes a half a year after when showed up at my door, and I would take her again now. The only area I really consider a concern is the tear with the soft belly, which appears to have been a long growing issue. I admit if getting new there are a couple options I may choose different, but I'd consider Ivy's twin if I was looking to re-home her a sister.

Do you happen to know the skin and nipple color numbers of your 158?

Thanks for the review. Sucks there's peeling on the nipple and a tear in her love holes.
