This is a request with all due respect, for WM Dolls to add the option for articulated fingers.
Of course we would understand there would be an extra charge, I feel it would be worth it.
I think others would feel the same.
I have purchased two WM Dolls over the past year and am considering purchasing a third.
But I have to consider other options as both dolls have broken fingers.
If there are others that feel this way, please leave a message, at least a YES.
Maybe WM will notice and consider the request.
Thanks to all,
MX
Yes! I've got some of Mannequin Fan's hands on order from Sculpteo. Frankly, I don't think that I should have to do that, but all of her dumbass finger wires are broken and her hands are a damned mess. I would like to buy another WM doll via RLSD to act as Hadleigh's partner and wing girl, but will not do so until they catch up with the tech and offer fully articulated hands. That's the nature of any business, keep the fuck up or get sidelined. Rest on your laurels and you'll soon find yourself obsolete and broke.
Hadleigh is a fair-skinned WM163C/#188, Harper (#124) is a medium toned WM164D, Kendall is a fair-skinned 163C/#398. All via RLSD.
Articulated fingers are getting more reliable but can still be damaged accidentally, particularly with thinner/smaller fingers
For those into photography, articulation gives the better result and also longer life of fingers
It doesn't take much for the TPE to get twisted around the wires. I would sign, I've had my doll for 2 months now and already feel like damage on the hands will be inevitable
YES,YES,YES!!!!!! PLEASE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Their hands are such an integral part of dressing and posing them that they seem to break almost immediately and without any effort at all. The twisted fingers and wires poking out (ouch, hey that hurt!) are a major turn off. Trying so hard to get a really good / great photograph and it is virtually impossible with hands that will not look even somewhat natural no matter what you do. Super Frustrating!
Come on Doll Builders / Artists, you can do better than this. Look at what you've done with the rest of their body and head. Unbelievable realness. Don't think it would be hard for you to get the hands to the next level of quality. I am certain we would all be more than happy to pay for the upgrade.
Perhaps there will be a first company to blaze the trail, maybe even become the best at it. Here's your opportunity, don't think you can go wrong making the hands better.
Oh yes, did I mention fucking? Their poorly constructed hands take a beating during that too.
I like to hug my girls and hold their hands. Please help.
As a long standing well supported company it is a duty of WM to consider using some of the profits to forward the sustainability of their dolls for a better customer experience, this will make more profits in the long term.
Yes! The WM doll I bought last December already had two broken fingers after just a couple of weeks. This, is spite of the fact that I was super careful to prevent this from happening. If they can't (ot won't) offer articulated fingers, at the very least I hope they will some day improve the longevity of their current fingers.
