Re: New and Improved Teddy Babes for 2020
My Teddy Babes are modified for missionary position, and they are very good sex partners.
In fact at happy-ending time the wax is blown out of my ears.
But you have to find your happiness.
Cheers,
Missionary

Happy ending= orgasm.
Wax blown out of your ears= mind blowing or very loud.

Re: New and Improved Teddy Babes for 2020
The probability of getting a Velour Vixen at the moment is ZERO! No one has heard from Coyote9 in about 7 months. No idea what is happening with him. I have my VV Zelda for sale. And I live in the USA. So cheap shipping on a VG? No... I prefer my dolls to be pretty and functional. I just cannot get past the face. Teddy Babes: they really stepped up their game on the new design. Hopefully a new body style in the future.Hagen of Tronje wrote:I can understand that you do not like the look of the face of the VG dolls, I am not a fan of the VG head and face either. But as you say, aesthetics is not everything in a love doll. The VG dolls are very functional, very well produced and sturdy, they are less expensive than a TBD. On top of that they can be bought easily online directly from the producer for a reasonable shipping cost if you are located in an European Union member state. The producer seems to be a friendly and reliable person to do business with.blacksmith wrote:Those dolls are terrible looking. No offense to those who like them, but I do not like the look of VG dolls. Besides I have a Velour Vixen with giant breasts, hips, butt and thighs. She is great, aesthetically, but a lot like older TBs: stiff and difficult to do anything with.
I am a big fan of TBD (I live with two of them), but I also like my VG which is very curvy. Of course I'd like to have a VV, but the price tag is a bit too high for my personal taste - I do not want to put VV down, probably they are worth every penny in terms of build quality and good looks.
Although the VG face leaves a lot to be desired, the VG doll has its merits. If you look at the forum at the VG website, you will find a lot of happy customers there.
The experiments with the head of the VG the producer is doing lately (less oval head, ears in human or elves form, teeth) are very interesting and show that the producer is working on a solution to improve the head purely on a plush basis. Would be nice to see all those improvements combined with a nicer design for the doll's eyes.

Re: New and Improved Teddy Babes for 2020
The wax-job comes from a very old (visual) joke. Here is a shortened version:
This sailor, after many days at sea, has a day off and he is going to do it all.
First, he goes to a spa to get pampered and get a nice massage.
At the end of the massage, the lady masseuse ask him if he wants a wax job.
He doesn't know what a wax-job is, but he wants to do it all.
She turns the sailor on his back, gets him very-very stiff.
With her out-stretched hands, she slams his cock between her palms - if you can picture it.
Out comes the ear-wax.
.
My apologies to all,
Missionary

Simple solution, bigger sofa!Wolferich wrote:I asked mine and they didn't agree. They spontaneously organized a demonstration - Monday against more Dolls - and showed me that there was no more room on the sofa.

I say the same thing about the bed. My wife always disagrees... I say I need a new wife.Mr Franz wrote:Simple solution, bigger sofa!Wolferich wrote:I asked mine and they didn't agree. They love nice, soft, solo piano music - no drums, please.
I'm sure, they would cheer if they could.
Some of them would get up and sing. I wish. That would be a dream come true.
Pretty Babes, lucky me,
Missionary

That's interesting Mr Franz. I'd assumed US citizens would be paying maybe $50 for delivery, based on typical trans-European delivery charges.Mr Franz wrote:I like TBs new design a lot, but damn $110 to ship within the US! A wee excessive considering I can get a customized VG shipped from Sweden for under $50...
When I enquired about 18 months ago, I was quoted $295 for delivery of 1 TBD to the UK. On top of that I'd have 20% sales tax on the whole amount and additional customs charges of maybe 5%. It unfortunately makes Teddy Babes rather costly to acquire direct from 8th Wonder for someone in Europe!
There was a UK retailer (lovehoney) that stocked a very limited range at a reasonable UK price. But they now have only 1 TBD model (Tina) listed. It gives the impression they bought a batch of dolls sometime way in the past and have never re-stocked since that point. So I'm somewhat pessimistic about seeing the new models available at a reasonable price in the UK. Hopefully I'll be proved wrong!

Maybe in the US. In Germany the maximum price at DHL is 16.49 EUR (18.42 US dollars) for a box with a weight of up to 31.5 kg and maximum dimensions of 120 x 60 x 60 cm. 110 USD is 98.47 EUR - that price makes me cringe, it is a factor of 6 more expensive than what I am used to.blacksmith wrote:$110 is cheap for shipping a large box via ground.

Re: New and Improved Teddy Babes for 2020
Not really, the box isn't that big for a fabric as the doll is folded and we're talking less than 20lbs! I use to do mail order on the side a while back and shipped things that size all the time. Seldom ever cost me more than $50 FedEx ground. TB is just charging a flat fee within the US and calling it S&H.blacksmith wrote:$110 is cheap for shipping a large box via ground.
