how do you arch her back?

is this possible?
seems like it from the position booklet that comes with the doll.
however I can't figure it out.

If I want to arch her back backwards, I hold one hand against her lower back and press against her collarbone above her boobs with the other.

For forwards, I put one hand on her belly and press between her shoulderblades.

I second Stevo this is precisely how I do it. No issues with mine has arisen.

A knee in the middle and two hands on the shoulders
or
a forearm around the pivot point in the spine and a forearm across the shoulders (one front one back).

And now she's loosened up a bit i can lay her back and pull her shoulders to arch her forwards but going back is still a little stiffer.

well I can't figure it out.
either the joint doesn't work or I have to apply twice as much force.

Does anyone have a picture of the skeleton in the arched position, and the opposite?

Also, do OR dolls have the same skeleton? IIUC they're made in the same factory...

Synth here. Yeah, I didn't want her back arched, but in the process of fixing it, I guess I found out how to move that particular joint. Pushing didn't help, you need to plant your hand and shove hard, with a burst of energy. Like an open hand punch of sorts. Disclaimer; IDK how that worked or if it'll work for you. Don't break your doll!
