I just wanted to let you guys know, I was in Best Buy this weekend and had a chance to try the Quest 3. There weren't any games or anything, but the first 5 seconds of the demo had color camera pass-through, and I swear I put it on about 50 times so I could see it. It was very very good. I almost couldn't tell I was looking at screens.

I've got a quest 3. It's not fully there yet for passthrough but it's miles ahead of the Q2 black and white. You need great studio like lighting to make it pretty clear. Sexlikereal passthrough mode looks great

Unfortunately no coding experience though funny you mentioned that I’ve been looking into learning. I have some great AR ideas (not just porn specific).

Do it Man! The more you do it, the better you get at it. Coding helps me in every area of my life. I write python scripts to rename whole directories of files. I am more comfortable working with functions in excel. And as sex robots get better and better, it will be the software that makes them that way.

Not just software either, high end machines are going need experience in IT like skills to operate and maintain. Domestic Robots, Lifestyle Robots, Gaming Robots, Sex Robots, all of these are going to have a whole clump of intertwining techs that make them do what they do.

I want to build one of those 3 wheeled omniwheel robots, with a AR/VR tracker and a pocket pussy on it. I would put the robot on the table, and stand next to the table. Then, have an AR chic interacting with me, and if she touches me the robot comes over and touches me. The better the software, the cooler this will be.

I absolutely agree. I think by mixing real and virtual, you can pick and choose your experience, based on what's important to you. Also, Unity (the game dev software lets you import videos, not just creating animations. You could get an actress to do a head performance over a green screen, and composite that in your game for absolute realism!

Impressive job. did you use wood for the limbs? I'm making my own doll. i will continue next week chipping away until i got my desired form and i will make several dolls such as a memory foam doll with a metal skeleton and stuff

I work with wood until I have to make it out of aluminum. I try to make prototype pieces out of wood until I know what the shape is and where all the holes are. Is your work posted somewhere?

My work
i will remove the 2 big rectangular wood plates and put (i think) birch instead since it is very very soft, easy to sculpt with chisels and very very light. i did the shoulder pad in birch and my chisels were sinking into it like butter an sanding it to the desired form was extremely easy.
i will also cut the weight by a lot and i will cut the 2 plates into inner support inside the doll
i will also make a metal frame skeleton after hollowing out the inside. I'm, constantly reworking her and my ideas but it's very very fun. i like it

Oh my gosh. I couldn't imagine chiselling an entire doll. That seems like alot of work. You have serious dedication.

if there is a will, there is a way and the wod I,m using is very soft so once i will have built the frame, it will take only a few days to make the geenral form and then buy sicone breasts and ass and make the plates and the holes (it will be hollowed out with a metal skeleton over the holes)

This is a cool project and something I've considered also many years ago, but I came up with a different solution. I have made a 'mirror' of my real world in the virtual world and step into the 'simulation'. Just got my first doll and the goal is to make one of my virtual girls, real. So far the 'mind hack' aspects of it have been very satisfying. Keep at your project my friend I look forward to more of your progress.

personnally i plan of making her mind similar to mine: 3D map of objects inside her "mind" (i can things in 3D in my mind and modify them), and pattern recognition along with deep knowledge of stuff you don't know that you research
the 3D box mind part will be interesting because i could upload 3d model in the "box" and make her identify them in 3D, similar to image recongnition
i don't know how much space i would nend as gb or whatever. it will be in the end just the sex parts down there will be put in the end because it's not a game breaker, it's a feature i could and maybe not do
the sex parts should be made for me not to hurt myself or break her so it will take a while to make since i don't to break stuff inside her while having sex or having a part that breaks and stab me in the groin, you know

I created the character in 3D many years ago, with a back story, personality, even the types of food she eats and how she smells. It was character building done as hardcore as I could and her existing in the 3D realm already, it's like now she's in the physical realm with me, just that she's always napping! I think now with the new AI tech inputting parameters into an existing neural net model will be a very feasible solution and accessible to many people.What you are talking about with the 3D box is very much like Chat GPT 4 in that it knows and learns from pictures you show it, I believe they even have a beta version which will understand actual 3D assets and be able to learn from them.

As far as personality the one I am currently working on is a quirky bubbly character, she's still young and light heart who is naive and sees the world for its good, unlike her creator, me a bitter middle aged man! lol I think what you are working on is a good idea and probably a better jumping off point since you understand your mind better than someone else you can create a more accurate identity using yourself. Can't wait to see what else you come up with.
