Question: please describe her skeleton.

The skeleton is our next generation design. We’ve greatly improved the neck, wrists, and hands and added extra functionality to the spine that allows an excellent range of side to side and rotational movement. The neck itself is much stronger and holds its pose well. While are hands are wire hands, the wires themselves are extremely resilient and hardened against both breakage and poke throughs. In addition our joints are just smoother and quieter all around. It’s a great improvement over our first generation skeleton!

What type of metal is the spine, and it's thickness, and please describe the neck update.

I haven’t seen the skeleton itself. It’s a secret not even shared with me at this time, but I can tell you how it feels. I think there is some kind of ball and socket system in the neck, but I can’t be sure. It moves fluidly and holds poses well. I can also report that niether of my Gen 2 dolls have sustained any skeletal damage, even after vigorous use and some extreme photo shoots. I’m quite hard on my dolls actually, both during play and as part of my “job” as a photographer, but these new models can take it very, very well. I’m not saying don’t be careful, I’m just saying sometimes I’m not and I’ve had no problems as of yet.

As far as I know Astrerix, it’s neither. It feels like a socket joint to me, but I haven’t seen it other than feeling around in my doll’s neck. I can say it’s really great so far, on both my dolls. Moves easily and holds poses. I’ve suffered a drop in that area (not too severe, but a definite drop) and it’s fine so far.

Most manufacturers get their skeletons from two vendors. One has the ball quick disconnect neck, and the other has a screw in head, but they've listened as the gooseneck has been replaced in both (about time).
Side note: If you've a squeaky gooseneck doll, PM me for instructions on fixing it.
Back to this new doll. With the upgrade of the skeleton, I'M IN!! I don't list her in my past loves, but I've personally experienced the Korean TPE, and it's truly incredible. Nothing comes close. Nothing!

What I think you have captured is a wonderful fantasy image embodied into a doll, a fantasy of a sexy lady, and brought her to life in a form that's not beyond credibility. That's a close balance to have achieved. From the photos I've seen she's an artform all of her own much as was the inspiration, and as potent, as Don Edmondson working in silicone with Ruby13.

There are some dolls that one admires for super-realism and much championed by noisy people who fear their demise, and others that one admires as art and as an abstraction from realism. For me it's so vital to have a doll who attracts and upon such a prospect in view fires the imagination to want her to come alive, rather than a doll that's so real as to disappoint in being dead. It's in this way that an art-doll can be really rather more alive than others made consciously to be so. It's all in the imagination and I think you've hit the spot.
