FedEx Mexico Clearance Delay
Re: FedEx Mexico Clearance Delay
Something like out of a movie, contact just by email and Whatsapp, meeting at a shopping mall parking lot, etc.
There was a document taped to the box saying it contains a "Silicone Model"

Thanks for the great info, I am so happy that you got your companion finally!
Next time, if you get another, then you will know exactly what to tell the company you will need for shipping properly.
Don't forget to share your photos! She was hard earned!
Cheers!

Meet in a public place to get your doll? sheesh!! I've had those guys selling stuff in classifieds wanting to meet somewhere. Nope.Fretless5 wrote:The few hundred dollars were for re-shipping the package from local FedEx to Texas, and then to pay the guys that finally brought her home.

Re: FedEx Mexico Clearance Delay
Just saw your big adventure to get your doll.
It appears that the stomach aches and big stress is part of being a doll enthusiast in our country.
maybe you could post what are the actual papers custom needed to release the doll.
this is very important to avoid problems and delay on future Mexican buyers. (also very important info for resellers)
in the past , there is no need of papers when importing a doll.
regards.

Re: FedEx Mexico Clearance Delay
I am from Mexico, and you need special Customs Agents with the appropiate government issued legal permits in order to import a sexdoll into Mexico, otherwise Mexican customs will confiscate it. Usually local Sexdolls vendors (like in Mercado Libre) have dedicated Custom Agents/Brokers for importing such type of Sex dolls, that's how I imported my Jasmine Ryan Davis and I had zero problems.Fretless5 wrote:Hey, hope someone could have any advice or recommendation...
I ordered a 140 cm doll from MSLD a few weeks ago, and today I received a phone call from the local FedEx office saying there is a Clearance issue
Apparently Importing a "Silicone" (it is TPE) Doll to Mexico is not that easy
Exception Reason Recommended Action
1. A health permit is required for shipments of any etiological agent or insect, animal, or plant vector of human disease or any exotic living insect, animal, or plant capable of being a vector of human disease. Shipper or Importer must provide a health permit.
They gave me the option to look for a Local Customs broker to register a Sanitary Registry with a Pedimento A1 (Import document), not sure what to do...
Don't now what could be the cost, or specifics about getting those official documents
Any ideas, someone from Mexico in the forum that already went through this procedure?
Thanks in advance
If you try to import a Sexdoll or any sex toy on you own without the appropiate government permits, they will confiscate the toys at Mexican Customs, that's why having a vendor with a dedicated Custom Broker/Agents is essential when buying/importing Sexdolls.
This is not exclusive for sexdolls but any ordinary toy with human figure like a barbie or a G.I Joe will be confiscated by Mexican customs unless you have the appropiate government issued permits (thanks to COFEPRIS a government organization for sanitary risks), even a bottle of vitamins will get confiscated at the border by Mexican agents.

Aldebaran20 have you tried the procedure yet?Aldebaran20 wrote:For those who might be interested in the future from September 25th is now possible to obtain the "aviso sanitario de importación" from through the COFEPRIS website (Online) no more need to go to the physical office, once you have the Sanitay Permit (digital) next step is to send it by email to FEDEX or DHL as far as I know.

I am interested in acquiring a doll but they told me that I could precede the problem of clearance.
Do you know if there is customs cost?

Please keep me uptaded if you do the purchase, I'd like to know what you will have to do in order to get your doll, I'm thinking about reaching to a customs agency, Columbia Export Group comes to mind, they have offices here in La Paz but still, I'm not really confident about making the jump.luich wrote:It is only done online, I am waiting to try to get one, there is not much help we say ...

I had bad luck with the holiday period of the offices, you know how government dependencies are in Mexico.

Thank you, and I can relate, they took quite a time (3 weeks) releasing an Everdrive I ordered 2 years ago.luich wrote:Most of the agencies only do the paperwork for companies, once I manage to release mine I help you.
