This is the latter for me.

I dont see it as "skinny" but rather as slender, and lovely. My only issue with this model is they make the upper arms too short. The length needs to be extended so that the elbows need to be much nearer the waist, otherwise it is a great supermodel body and can be dressed to perfection in very elegant style

Tall boots, leg warmers, thick socks/ stockings, etc would help hide those long skinny legs.

No one can use the word Anorexic when referring to any of the currently manufactured dolls. To do so just shows ignorance, and a desire to use inflammatory language to try to prove an invalid point.
These dolls are thin, svelt, lean, perhaps skinny, but they are far from anorexic. Very few are as lean as marathon runners, or Russian ballerinas.
We embrace fat chicks as a valid fetish, and take it to extremes, why can't we also embrace skinny as a fetish, and it be OK to take that to extremes?
I'd embrace that extreme, if it ever got produced.

Not inflammatory, but just descriptive.
I actually like this doll body, because she is light weight but tall enough and thin enough to look good in some of my vintage and retro 1920s dresses
