Elfie-de Forest queen: Special custom skin!

The colors in the picture aren't a match for the Thunder Grey or Paris Evening tones, it's just an example I made up as a general idea based on everyone's input using an existing Sanhui photo.

The thing that makes the forest elfie so great is the incredible attention to detail by the artist on the makeup and accents.

These photoshops remind me of why I never wanted to attempt a custom color before.

Yep custom colors would have to be spot on and looking all right, overwise we might as well be asking for a lifesize Jelly Baby.

This does look a lot better. I assume Sanhui's artists will take time to research and test colorations so they work out in the end. And definitely the accent coloring is key.

I have also been very partial to a steel blue as well.

My suggestion is to let the team have a little time off ... playing a Dark Elf in Lineage II ...

And yes "Gray with a blue" tint ... not the other way round or even blue-blue ... and also not too dark to allow for light to play and contours to show, ZannyDanger's choices of Thunder Gray or Paris Evening are both very nice and kinda set the marks, so in between should be good as well.

You guys really nailed the color perfectly, not too blue, and not too dark!
I think this will please a lot of us dark elf lovers out there, and love just how nicely the light plays on her features in these pictures, really shows well the contrast effect i mentioned earlier.
The resulting color gradients are very pleasing to the eye and i'm glad to see how the light bounces off very softly and naturally from her skin... just perfect in my opinion

Like others have said, beautiful red eyes would definitely complete the look here, i'm hoping you will consider this!



Oh well... looks like it's time to do some saving up for me too, color me very interested!! (pun intended)
Personally i would be looking at getting the new 168 body with an Abigail head in this configuration with red eyes, white/silver hair and the pigmented makeup in dark blue like in Nord's earlier example if possible.

Another great idea for her, and i don't know if this is still on the table, but i can definitely see some great options here if Anung's body markings concept becomes available! I think white/silver markings would look just wonderful here.

Wow I didn't realize that you guys already had a preset for darkelves Very nice choice of color, I must say. I think it's neutral enough for many of us who don't want to risk unwanted results with custom colors. For us who do, it will work great as a close reference to work with when discussing a custom color.

Personally I think I would still want a slightly darker and grey-ish color, but on the other hand the lighting seem to be very bright in that room, so the photo might make it look lighter than it actually is. Will have to think about this one!

And yes, red eyes! I know I've seen the option for at least some of your dolls, but I have not seen any pictures of it. Would like to know the contrast, if it's strong red as in my photoshopped picture or some lighter variant. Is it available for all sizes of your heads? I'm sure you have a box of them somewhere to take a picture or two

Either way I'm getting more and more hyped about breaking my one-doll-a-year rule and ordering a Sanhui darkelf this summer I just have to decide which body.
