There is not to much "action" in this post.. I'm just giving Carly some time to stock up on pretzels...
I'm a little worried about her level of anxiety.. hehehe..

Nearing the end of week two I left the rocky area behind..
I drove further into the dunes and walked along the highest ridge I could find..
But the heat was intense..!

Damn It must be near on 55c degrees out here. (131F).
Hold on what's that.. Way out on the horizon ..!

I raced back to the speeder as fast as I could in the heat.. And sure enough..!

An escape pod.. Something survived the crash.. The door's open..!

It was a bit hot here today.. I had a hard time crossing the road to buy an ice-cream.! my flip flops got stuck..!

I jumped in the speeder and followed r2's tracks this way and that way..
The tracks where easy to see even as the light began to fade..

I got out and walked around for a while but there was no sign..

Mmm.. Very strange..
Almost as if something is trying to cover the tracks.. Weird..??

I made camp for the night.. And at first light raced back to the pod to start over.
