Hello,

Today 1/26/2018 at 2:24 PM I have received my new WM148L Doll. She left Shenzhen 1/22/2018 at 10:57 AM (my local time) so she travelled from China to France in 4 day, 3 hours and 27 minutes. I think this is a new world record for a Doll Delivery from China to Europe!



Here are pictures of her when she was still at the factory one week ago:





I haven't had the time to inspect her in detail but I couldn't help myself, I just had to knead these boobs a little... Woaaaaaaaaahh!

Sorry, I must leave. I have some things to do.

Ha ha! But I don’t think so. She wouldn’t have made stops in between. But I am a bit jealous. She was in India and Dubaï. Good that the package wasn’t inspected in those countries!

Indeed. The packaging was also very good with some new stuff. Nothing exceptional but good and simple ideas to protect the Doll. I will post some pics tomorrow.

Congrats Von Rubber! I just received pics of mine at the factory, so expect a tracking number in a few days. I picked a different head, but I think you'll be pleased when you see pictures of her (I'll ask her to give you a special wink).
I'm really excited to see the "comic strip" situation you put her in. This doll is showing up in quite a few new threads. I'm thinking it's time to create a sticky for her where all threads can be brought together. Anyways, great choice!

I have already bought some stuff for her but I must see if it fits. I always try to choose a basic color for the clothes of each character I create. Svetlana likes to be dressed in Black, Molly wears mostly Pink and the WM148L (haven't found a name for her yet) will probably like Milky White and maybe Pastel Colors. I wonder were I got this Milky White idea?

Hello again,

Here are the promised pics. Sorry for the low quality. These were taken in my basement with poor lighting conditions.

I didn't included a photo of the closed box or one with the stuff packed on the upper side of her body. The hands were protected with gloves made from protective foam paper and the feet encapsulated in some sort of foam boots (more on that later).

Here is the box with the upper stuff removed: heads, wigs, pink night suit, etc... Foam blocks were paced on top of the body to keep it from moving inside the box. Note that the sides of the box have been padded with a layer of foam.


The following image is very important. It shows the butt of the Doll.


Here one can see the double U shaped foam blocks which are placed between the legs. This also prevents the doll from moving around inside the box when handled by people not knowing what delicate object they are mistreating. Once delivered, I suggest to remove those blocks as they may leave indentations on the legs when the Doll is stored for too long in the lying position.


The following image is also very important. It show the nice boobs of the Doll.


This is WM's (Jinsan?) solution to prevent the Doll's neck to protrude through the cardboard. A small piece of wood. I don't know if this is a good idea in the long term (only time will tell) but in my case it worked well. There was no hole on the side of my box.


This last image is of the foam "boot" in which the feet are protected. Clever design.


Though there is always something that can go wrong when shipping and handling a Doll, I can't see how one could be damaged when packed in such a conscientiously manner. At least not when the cardboard box is handled in a normal way. For sure, if it falls five meters down while it is loaded on a cargo plane, damage can occur. But otherwise?
When the delivery man ringed at the door, I told him I would open the backdoor so we could carry the box together in the basement. I was expecting he would be happy to have some help to handle the parcel. When I was there, I opened the door and the guy was already standing behind it holding the Box upright in his arms. While I was walking down, he took her out of his van and walked around the house as it was nothing. I then picked up the box and laid her on the ground in the laundry room. She is a rather lightweight Doll.

Anyway, she is now home and safe. Though I don't know if safe is the right word?

Wow if she had taken a seat on a passenger jet she would've knocked a bunch of people over on her way threw the airports with them huge knockers of hers and would've got there in same amount of time lmao

It seems to be the case. I see you have her on order. I hope yours will arrive well packaged and safe as well.

I haven’t mentionned it but my 148L has the shrugging shoulders option. I can’t wait to test this.

4-day delivery, wow. She must've sweet talked those pilots in the cockpit. Nice to know about the new packaging, hope mine arrives the same.
