I would say that with my first gal I noticed the colour was fading after about 4 months but that was before I started to give her a baby oil massage (which I now do between every 6 to 8 weeks). The baby oil will wipe away any normal makeup used which is why you see some folk using more permanent colouring but personally it doesn't bother me as I quite like applying the make up and it's fun to give your gal a fresh look.
