There seems to be lots of conflicting information in this thread. Some posts suggest that under current US law there are no restrictions on importing dolls. Yet others suggest that people can actually get in trouble for importing them. Doing my own research, the only news stories I've found mentioning dolls were from actual offenders that happened to have young looking dolls. I haven't seen anyone getting in trouble for dolls alone but I could easily be missing this as my search was not exhaustive by any means.
Keep in mind where some of the confiscations are coming from. If you're in the US there are no import issues on any size. I've never had any order refused by customs for my customers. Sometimes too much information can be overwhelming. If you have any concerns contact your vendor first and ask if they've had any problems.

Like Don MonAmour said just earlier, You wont have the anguish/anxiety if you go through TDF vendor.
@ 155cm, you should not have any problems with customs and whatever else...Please sleep well after ordering her.

And also refer to the first page of this topic if in doubt. :glou:

I am not concerned about US customs wanting to confiscate my dolls. I had no problems with them delaying, or even inspecting full sized dolls when I used those in the past. I know of no one who has had a 'legal issue' for a CSC charge due to dolls.

The Phicens and other 'Barbie' size dolls are viewed as collectibles by customs. Most agents don't even pay attention to them and most don't know what they are. Those guys are really watching for other contraband. One good thing about this industry is the sensitivity the manufacturers show in how stuff is shipped.

Larger dolls were a bit of a challenge to conceal at home. I got 'busted' by friends a couple of times. I found that aspect of the larger dolls inconvenient and switched to smaller dolls.

As a side note, I worry more about people discovering my dolls at my home! I keep them put away and hidden from view when 'conservative' guests are over. On the one hand, I have had 6 different girl friends that liked to 'play with the dolls' with me in the past. On the other hand, I never had any significant other approve of full sized dolls. My experience has shown that larger dolls tend to be a 'harder sell' if sharing with a heterosexual SI is your goal.

I have an elf doll. Although it takes effort to locate adult-looking clothing for an 80 cm doll, it's not impossible. I just use big safety pins in back to tighten up the look of the clothes and it's just like they were made for her. She goes everywhere with me. She even has her own car seat behind the passenger seat and wears a seat belt to be "street legal," lol. I've taken her into all kinds of businesses with me and she gets every kind of reaction if/when people see she's a doll and not a quadriplegic with pointed ears, but it's never been an actual problem, and in fact, I've had many galleries allow her to be photographed next to various works of art, or to sit on antique furniture for a pic. 8)

The bottom line is: dress your doll as an adult. Treat her like an adult. Problem solved. It's really that simple. :)

One more thing: Learn to put makeup on your doll to give her an appropriately adult look. Don't overdo it or she'll look like a sex worker. Just look at pics of adult women using the image search feature of your favorite search engine and find pics of attractive women. Use that as your guide. If you can't figure it out from the pics alone, use YouTube to find makeup tutorials.

Your doll is an adult. Make it show! And stop being ashamed of her. :|

Sorry, I have a question. After reading this forum I am terrified. I just bought these two real dolls.

Becky 140 cm

https://www.--Non-verified Vendor--/index.php?main_ ... ntnqmkgiq4

Viola 140 cm

https://www.--Non-verified Vendor--/index.php?main_ ... ntnqmkgiq4

Can anyone tell me if they are legal for ITALY ?
In your opinion could they be seized?

Is the face and body legal or too young?

Please answer me. I'm very worried.

I'd say everything is fine, Giulio. Those two have some nice boobs and the faces look old enough.
In most european countries buying whatever doll is completely legal!

Only UK and Norway are going to confiscate some dolls. Even that normally just ends with the doll being confiscated and destroyed. nothing else... you don't end up in jail...

As long as you are not already monitored by whatever government agencie/police for some crime related to underage pornography or something like that you are completely safe with all dolls!

This is not true, although in many European countries there is no active fight against these dolls.
For instance in The Netherlands, and probably in most European countries, an underage looking sex doll can be considered child porn. The law also applies to artificial representations, it's not necessary that an actual child is involved. I am not aware of cases in The Netherlands that solely involve a doll, but be aware that underage looking sex dolls are not legal here, and not in most European countries, based on laws against child porn.

Would getting the SM 136cm A-Cup shipped to Canada cause any issues? Thinking I might want to look into getting that body with their elf head but who knows what customs is going to do.

[First time poster--directed here by a Silicon Wives Q&A person] I have two dolls. I have taken one in my convertible for a ride (with the roof down, of course!). Dressed up in a nice dress and bonnet (hat with a all-around visor), and wearing her seat belt, naturally! Anyhow, I read the first few pages of this post's subject to get the drift of things. Excellent admonishment and information. My two dolls are good-to-go! ;^) I am glad I was pointed to TDF, as I have other questions and such (searching other posts for answers, not in this post).

Thanks for your answers. Now I feel less anxious. I read on the web that the two real dolls I ordered have already been bought in Italy by many people and from customer reviews it seems that nobody has had problems. I hope everything is fine ...
