Not to be a pessimist but this must only be the beginning and other dolls are on the chopping block.

Congrats feminazis

With the issues Phil is having and other cases here and on other forums, I feel that my WM140 will have to stay at home when I go to the doll meet this year. If height and not appearance is the standard being used to make someone's life hell for months and figure out if there is a reason to later, then I wouldn't want to take the risk of her being there should an unwelcome audit occur.

It is a great shame this has to happen, and that we are in this ridiculous situation. I hope that it can be resolved with sense and reason prevailing, but this depends on if the authorities are looking for enlightenment, or a blunt instrument.

Just tell the cops you're taking the doll to a Dr. for growth hormone and to a plastic surgeon for implants.

Don't worry.
Daria and I are not going anywhere.
We both love TDF to much to ever be angry.
Daria will continue to be an active in Dolls Alive and we will respect the new rules.
Daria and I will be turning our focus to Giorgi's photographic career.

We hold TDF staff and moderators in the highest regard and know that this was a difficult decision.
We have no anger and plan to continue creating new, original, and fun content focusing on Giorgi.

If you don't know Giorgi, she has a complicated past.
Her origin story can be discovered by reading Daria's thread "A cure for Daria" and Giorgi's introduction thread "I am Giorgi.

Thanks,
scooter and Daria

Thats really good to hear Scooter and Daria!

TDF staff is only looking out for us! No one wants to see you stop posting and I can't imagine how hard their decision was :(

In a sense, TDF is just a playground, but because of the changing (political) landscape our little playground here could cause problems in the real world. Sucks, but its the world we live in :/

I just read through the first and last pages of this topic and the link to legislation. On top of some serious ethical problems with civil rights and even the likelihood of exposing REAL children to elevated risks, there are some serious dynamical problems here as well. First off, i have a hobby of making people artistically using character modeling programs, usually in video games. And i have made children using adult platforms and adults using child platforms. It's remarkably easy to make one look convincingly like the other. Yes, there IS a scientific basis for child/adult face differences, but these differences are not concrete and chief elements of both find their way in to the other very often. And in some cases it's the norm. Asian adult faces for example share many; often most characteristics of western child faces. If you want an Asian looking doll who doesn't look 40, you are pretty much screwed. And there are other things like black adult noses sharing strong similarities with child caucasian noses. And head shape is literally all over the board in all ages. The head DOES elongate and make other predictable changes as you age but how strongly and where you start from varries from person to person and one adult could easily end with features from where another child started. The same is true for eye proportions. Just look at a picture of Rinona Ryder in her early 20s and Dakota Fanning when she was 9 or 10 and do a feature by feature comparison. Shapes and proportions look nearly identical. Yet it is still easy to tell that one is a child and the other an adult through suttle differences. These suttle differences are easy to make at home and from what i have seen are almost always lacking in more affordable import dolls. In other words, import dolls can very easily go either way and i get the impression that this was intended by the designers. From my experience in charactor modeling, the hardest thing to overcome in making an adult out of a child model or a child out of an adult model is the torso and this is most difficult to overcome with female. Breast size is an obvious one but there are real sex appeals in small breasted adults. I for one like the athletic female build that is common in gymnasts, swimmers and basically the half naked stuff you see in the olympics. Small breasted, but distinctly different from children. So really the most reliable difference between child and adult models is going to be the shape of the torso it's self. Adults tend to have more pronounced hips and stomachs. Very young children (usually 6 and under) tend to also have baby fat in some places more strongly than others.

But none of this is an exact science. I could easily photoshop a picture of early 20s Rinona Ryder to look like she's 7 and a picture of Dakota Fanning at age 7 to10 to look like she's 40 without modifying any of the features listed in that scientific chart. I see doll faces on advertisements while posting this very message that i could easily make look like children if i wanted to just through makeup, eyelashes and hair mods.

The bottom line is there is no way to prohibit childlike sex dolls without targeting those made, sold as and meant to be used as adult dolls. What this DOES do is opens the door to go after the rest of us. What everyone over seas is going to do is sell the heads and bodies separately. And then people at home who want child like dolls are going to make all the dolls not targeted youthful looking. So the politician are going to start going after more features and so on. If you REALLY want to see where this is going to go, look carefully at California's assault weapon restrictions, the ways the firearm industry found around it and the things the government did in response. This is all coming to your doorstep if it hasn't already. If we don't stand up for everyone across the board, whether or not we like what they are doing with their dolls, it will eventually make it's way to the rest of us.

I agree with this completely but explain this to your vendors who advertise on here. Japan and China have always had this weird obsession with child-like features. Anyone who has watched anime knows what I am talking about. These underage dolls give the doll buyers community a bad reputation. All I am saying is that if you are going to implement a policy make sure that you inform your vendors to not place images of any such dolls in their ads since such images are illegal as well.

With that said, I agree completely. Pedos begone! Anyone who knows me knows that I am a lover of full-grown big titty gals.

A doll is a chunk of plastic, objectively. No ifs and/or buts. If child dolls promote abuse against children, adult dolls promote abuse against adults. Stop being hypocrites. Determining the age of a chunk of plastic is not only futile, it is an absurd waste of time. Policies are being implemented to solve a problem that simply does not exist. Nothing but fear mongering. Not only is this whole concept silly, but these policies can potentially be dangerous. We're removing a potential outlet that could potentially eradicate child abuse once and for all. Isn't that the goal? Yes, potentially. We don't know how these dolls could affect people either way. But removing a potential solution in absence of any justifiable reason is harmful.

There is no "science" that determines that age of a chunk of plastic unless you're using some radioactive dating method. Determining the age of a human purely on physical characteristics is a science as much as history is a science (it's not). The only articles I've found on this thread are based in conjecture and link to some blog post with no sources.

violette_22 wrote: First off, calm down, unless you are importing a love doll in the 80cm-140cm range that's flat chested and/or dressed as a school girl and/or has a baby face, it's not likely to look very child-like. Secondly, if a PayPal purchase is unlike your usual purchasing habits due to it being overseas or a very large purchase, that's just a credit protection feature. The US police do not show up at your door due to a doll, and don't let anyone make you believe that. That's just an SJW strategy to shame 'pedo-phobics' and attempt to gain your trust while they are up to no good. The police show up because something suspicious you have done online, in the view or neighbors or in public has caused concern that you could be a predator. Simply buying an adult toy online doesn't make anyone a predator. Most of these people that get seriously busted and a doll is involved also have other illegal media, or a doll that strongly resembles human trafficking victims featured in illegal media (they just don't mention that to save face, pretend they are completely ignorant of what actual minors looks like). It creates suspicion that predatory abuses are happening. This is why the authorities always investigate media files and devices. After they check, it's basically a matter of paperwork vs any sort of criminal activity prosecution. The worst that happens is the items are confiscated, the same happens to items deemed 'drug paraphernalia' It's really not worth the legal fight for anyone unless they're those SJW types trying to fight 'pedo-phobia' to serve their own needs. Nothing good will come of it. Lots of things are illegal to import like potentially unsafe food, animals and plants.... it's not often a matter of 'morals' at all. It's stupid that these laws even need to exist, but people sometimes don't have any ethics or sense. It's sort of like driving down the road with a bong on your dash, if the vegetation that's used in said product is illegal, it's reasonable that the one in possession of that bong also has possession of illegal vegetation while driving. It's just the law of your region and the logic of those that are tasked with keeping the law in force. Those with ethics and sense often experience the most freedom and the least amount of trouble.

The only reason that the smaller scale dolls are being targeted anywhere in the West is because BAD VENDORS are selling the same models, styling, presenting and labeling in a very predatory manner. It's very profitable and unlikely to stop.

Shipments sometimes do 'get lost' while shipping around the globe. It also happens to shoes and shower curtains, so don't be so upset and paranoid if it does happen. That's the nature of shipping companies. Items made and manufactured as sex toys are sometimes considered obscene and/or pornographic depending on your region, but that doesn't mean you can't have them. It means you can't have them around actual minors or harass others with it. Sex dolls are always marketed as pornographic, that's why they sell, it's their primary function. The laws about what's obscene and what's pornographic varies by region. That really doesn't affect anyone that purchases a toy online, but it can prevent you from opening and operating an Adult Novelty shop. Some regions only have laws about importing them and that's what this thread is warning.

Your best bet is to purchase a domestically manufactured love doll, they are sure to look adult if a Western person has designed it and markets their products publicly. Secondly, purchasing from a domestic importer will divert any liability to that vendor, not you. What does or does not qualify as obscene or pornographic as far as possession goes does not apply to everyone, it depends on your region. If your item has passed customs, then it's passed customs and it on it's way to you. There is nothing else to fear unless you are using the doll in a way that alerts your neighbors or other actual people around you.

Now, stop worrying and start enjoying your new hobby. :)
Finally some one with logic!!! Thanks Violette!

I found this, I got a good laugh at it, cause the first half were inflatable doll scam pictures, they don't know what's legit or not. Also he censored out bodies, but he didn't censor out his information at sides lol. Must've paid too much attention to blurring out bodies.

It seems like they did manage to contact and cease some dolls back in early 2018. That explains why all 100cm doll listings instantly disappeared in the air at the time.

Don't laugh, this "endsexualexploitation.org" is something to counter. The donor button on their website means money involvement, and with money stuff gets serious. And, sorry, pussyfooting (censoring images) on TDF just wouldn't cut it.

Remember the history? There were organizations opposing pornography and it took a dedicated fight to win that battle. Was it Hustler, or Playboy owner, who was involved in that struggle -- later documented in a blockbuster feature movie?

From that historical parallel, it is likely the sex doll vendors, who would be the most interested to get involved. However, what kind of vendors? Certainly, don't count on those from mainland china selling cheap stuff on aliexpress -- they didn't experience freedom and, therefore, unlikely to understand that this is something worth fighting for. Plus, they are unlikely to speak the language to be able to be summoned for the Congress hearing. Racyme? They are based in Texas, and well known saying goes "Don't..."

Quantum hit the nail on the head. Agree 200% bro. lots of fear mongering and hypocrites trying to white knight for anything they deem isnt the norm to them. He is also right about the child abuse mention he makes. Its like liberals raging and protesting to ban guns and then you get nut cases able to still get them and kill people where if a law abiding citizen had kept there right to bear arms it may have been prevented. yeah judging a piece of plastic and giving it an age and then comparing it to a real human is pretty sad.....but this is what the world is coming to if we dont fight this shit. You will have to apologize and jump thru hoops for anything and everything you may want or any hobby you decide is fun or good for you. That is pathetic.

Hustler's Larry Flynt went to court.

Yes, don't count on Aliexpress or Alibaba vendors. Dolls are just another product.
