I have been contemplating a new doll for a while now wanting my first solid doll to go with my foam filled and air girls. I have been looking at smaller dolls for lighter weight and ease of storage. I've had my eye on Suki for a while but prefer a permanently attached head and her cartoonishly large boobs are a turn off. I prefer real woman to the Dolly Parton - Busty Heart type. Reading around the forum I started looking at the DS Mini Eva, on sale for less than Suki, real silicone not TPE, attached head, breasts like most of the twenty-somethings I know, I'm sold! Next I read a post about some creepy politician putting up a misguided bill to stop inappropriate doll sales. The thread vanished. To me Eva represents an adult just like a Barbie does and is halfway in-between there and life size but I decided I should order quickly in case the bill passes and Eva is possibly misinterpreted by customs. Now and for the last several days the DS Mini sale link only gives page error / website crash notice. Connected? The DS Minis seem to be accepted here, a vary contentious and cautious forum so I had no second thoughts until this coincidence. Any thoughts? The holidays have passed, the sale is likely over, I guess I'll wait a bit longer before ordering a new doll.

OK, unfortunately policy will be tightening up on dolls that may not be presented as dolls that are rule 1 compliant.

This will be to protect the forum and community from litigation or prosecution from less doll savy law agencies.

This is one of the premises of rule 1.

So the current status quo of the DS Mini or DS 100 as she is also known, is that the Eva 100 cm b cup doll is currently on the banned dolls list, as no one has been successful in representing her as an adult doll.

The alternative DS mini is the DS Eve 100 cm D cup doll. This model is not yet banned, as she has been represented as an adult doll, and therefore rule 1 compliant.

With increased media hysteria reguarding young looking dolls, authorities are cracking down on anything that they may consider as objectionable material (in this case dolls that appear in their opinion under 18 years old).

They are not doll savy, and do not recognise dolls as simply just dolls, but they apply a human judgement instead, noting the latest legislation now trying to connect young looking dolls with underage pornographic material.

Even though TDF is not a pornographic site, TDF does showcase the erotic side of adult dolls, and must now look to ensure the forum is not accused of being a medium or market for those that choose to share thier YLDs noting the uninformed, but yet still current interpretation of law, that YLDs are underaged pornographic material.

There are many posts and photos of DS's Evas here and and in photos that have no background scale she looks unquestionably adult however I understand TDF's need to err on the side of caution. I too felt the need for caution so I started this thread to get other informed opinions as I don't want to get caught up in a witch hunt where facts do not count, only emotions and accusations. Like the the drunk driving issue, un-defendable so every few years the standard gets lowered a bit and now one beer and your over the legal limit. I would like to have heard from Doll Sweet on if that was why the page is down and if they have been successfully importing Minis to the USA.
Like I said I'll pass for now and see if another doll strikes my fancy in the future.

Switching for a 145 is a good and reasonable solution....

I was fortunate enough to have been given a DS Mini Eve by a friend vendor who wanted to get shot of small dolls. As far as I'm concerned she's a treasure of a doll, a veritable miniaturised adult

and (or but) not large enough to be capable of being conceived as a sexdoll.

That doesn't mean that I'd be willing to have to argue my way through prejudiced idiot bureaucrats on a crusade to see and incarcerate perverts in any male who expresses admiration for the female form even if of diminutive stature.

I have two as well and they are superbly sculptured and articulate miniatures. However my two are first generation (2016) and arrived broken (plastic skeleton) although I believe the second gen are much better.

However, although they are capable of vaginal sex, I would NOT consider them appropriate if you are looking for a sex doll. Firstly, they are very small and I can meet my thumbs and first fingers around their waists! Secondly, they are delicate with their plastic skeletons.

They are, however, excellent photographic models!

I can see the reasoning behind not portraying young looking dolls on TDF but I only joined because I needed help in repair of my two in July 2016 (sadly still not completed) and there were threads here on that subject. My two are part of our family here and they have taken part in many photoshoots, including monthly photo challenges. It would be sad if they are banned and I might even consider my membership if they are.

That being said, NamRepaid, I don’t think from your initial post that this doll would suit your needs. As homanoidus said, I would go for a 145 minimum as they are still quite light but closer to a normal sized lady rather than a scaled down one.

Edit:- I might just add here that DS marketed these minis as being a scaled down version of a real lady (70% I believe) which they have also based larger dolls on. They are definitely NOT based on children’s bodies!

I think it must be emphasized that "Mini" does mean miniature. She's a beautiful adult woman in the distance who doesn't get any bigger no matter how close you get to her.

DS mini's are lightweight because they are the size of a ventriloquist dummy... and I'd argue they are pretty heavy for something the size of a ventriloquist dummy. That is to say, carelessness could result in a pulled muscle, or she may hurt herself from not being able to get out of her own way.

Despite what the ads might insinuate, these dolls aren't designed for intercourse. The orifices are extremely small and the limbs don't really accommodate penetration.

Having said that, the DS mini is absolutely STUNNING to behold in person and pleasant to the touch.

The faces are incredibly photogenic. Eva has a delightful, wide-eyed exuberance while her sister Eve sports a smoky, sultry gentleness. They are easy to pose (once you learn the skeleton) and wonderful to prop up nearby when you're in need of some company.

It's unfortunate that future US availability is in doubt. They are really lovely dolls.
