Thanks Metricnut and gonestill77

Some photo focus issues; I did install A Better Camera app and got weird results, seen at the last 3 pics.
Used the tap-on-screen to select sharpening to the eye of the model, and the Best Picture -mode.
The girl came out blurred, while a nail in the background wall 10 feet away is beautifully sharp. The app even renames the shot depiction "BEST".

Absolutely. Now I recall that I DO have a digital DSLR camera closeted. Don't want to sound gloomy but it is my dead brother's one. I haven't touched it yet. But hey, with this delightful new activity it might be the right time.
See how life plays with us!

Yeah, I’m with you there mate! If anyone had said one of my passions in life would be taking photos of dolls at the beginning of 2016 I’d have laughed in their face!

Sorry to hear about your brother but maybe it’s destiny and maybe he would have wanted you to enjoy using it!

However, even with a digital DSLR now I’m way behind many members here with my skills but I enjoy the learning experience!

Cheers, Hollows.

Random shot but at times her presence gives me chills.

-Gin is preparing her guitar-playing photo, inspired from the SH musical girls. She rummages my cabinets all the time, manly stuff specially. A Pink Floyd shirt, bought from Frisco in 1987. Those times the best t-hirts without question were made in USA.

Cool pic, Wight! I am a Pink Floyd fan as well. I remember about a year or so ago, Eve found and wore my Type O Negative t-shirt for a photo shoot.
Look forward to the guitar playing photos.......

NICE!
Not surprising. That is a mellow and beautiful song. One of my favs by them.........

Actually, Dark side is one of their best albums in my opinion.

I remember when that album came out, people were simply astonished by the depth and authority of the whole thing.

Does Gin like some of the more modern metal? She looks like a girl I would see at a BabyMetal concert. Give me Chocolate!

Metricnut,

arigato! That's where you'd find her as Gin certainly likes conspicuous events. She's been delving my o l d progressive albums - dinosaur stuff - and is a sucker for melody lines that she hums.

Great stuff Wight!!
I've still got my vinyl copy of that album somewhere in my old large collection.....

I have to be careful with Kate's wrists as well, when she plays my old bass guitar!
