I love this B&W photo, too. Great shot

There should be a thread of low-end and botched shots that the shooter still likes, with explanation why you like it. Anybody?

I really like the lighting effect here playing with the hat and the darkness of the background.

Sorry for quoting an ancient post, but I'm new here... I have two questions based on the comment above.Wight wrote: ↑Thu Dec 21, 2017 4:46 pm optical delusion and Liz_xxx, thank you.
Silicone seems to be good material. Already my doll got a stain from that blue shirt with black outlines, but as the fine people at TDF has advised, the stain is now all gone by itself. And the shirt, too. Despite powdering, that silicone gets everywhere - even some of my CD:s started flitting.
1) What do you mean by "that silicone gets everywhere"?? It sheds??
2) "CD:s started flitting?" Audio CDs? What are you talking about?
3) Can you please provide a link to whatever thread/post you referred to at TDF that gave you the instruction that removed the stain you experienced?
Thanks so much.

Very classy shoot Ginevra

1. That redundant silicone was just some mould release agent on the doll that I soon washed away. It does not shed. I don't know if Sanhui has changed their manufacturing process but it is generally advised that a wash with diluted soap is good for the start.
2. That agent got to my hands and at the evening I was playing music on CD:s (was drunk too!) so that's the flitting cause. Memorable night.
3. I searched posts at TDF about the stain remedy (don't have links) - the wise members stated that silicone outs coloring by itself in a week or two. The stains were gone in 4 days. Thank you for asking!
Hello Leatherman
Thank you! I was photoing today but nah...just have to do some new soon. Gin sends her greetings to Florida, that oncoming storm was in our TV news for 2 days!

And a great job on the background, I still struggle with those.
