The upgrade is now available on the 2 new bodies: 161E and 165N

Are you planning to upgrade the older bodies (165F) in the near future?

Really? I've asked 2 weeks ago and it wasn't available, so I'd like to make sure. Did they also add the ball-jointed wrists on the 165F or just the head connector?

it's pretty new, it takes time for them to re-make the mould to fit the connector design. Just got news from 6ye that they will soon make ball-joint wrist for 165F

I have a question about the new 2nd generation connecting system. In november 2017, I ordered a 165 n cup that arrived with some damage on the neck, which I initially thought was superficial damage, but when I applied pressure to the neck plate I was able to expose the rod within the neck. Just wanted to know if this is normal? Also it appears that my neck connector looks different from the picture posted earlier in this topic.

yes the rod can move and expose

both are the 2nd gen, your one is for 165N, and the one you seen on the 1st page is for the other bodies

Thanks for the information. The wrist is great news, I'll wait for it.

As a new 161E owner, I have to say this new connector I fantastic. It not only makes it so much easier, but it looks so much better than even the magnet hack that has been for WM/YL heads (though that was a really cook invention).

And I hope that the 166A gets it before the end of the year or so

Is there a body/head hanger kit that works with this neck?

Can you attach a Jinsan head to this Gen 2 connector?
