LBE - When I did this shoot I was thinking the same. Was going to use it in the title but figured few would get the reference. Actually thinking more of Donna Reed... or the Betty Draper character from Mad Men. It's the pearls!

Head pics are my absolute favorites, I have been admiring everyone's beautiful dolls here for a while and wanting to join in but was waiting for my doll to arrive.

Sorry I don't have a great camera and I hope you don't mind my last pic isn't strictly head and shoulders but its my favorite I have taken.

I want to say thanks to Irishgirl for creating this thread. It is my favorite photo thread ("showing cleavage" is a close second). And it seems to be a favorite of many of the members with 583 replies in just two years ("showing cleavage" edges it out by a few but it's been around for 8 years). I took the time today to go through all 39 pages and enjoyed looking at all the great photos. We are all very lucky to have so many gorgeous dolls in our lives. You could review all these photos, come up with a number of clear faves, select a few that maybe aren't your particular taste, or perhaps, from a technical standpoint, win any photo awards. BUT, as I went through these today I was struck by the level of love and admiration for our dolls' beauty that is evident in each shot. By concentrating on the face alone, I can hear every post saying "here is my beauty, let me share it with you". So, there's not a bad photo in the lot.

I probably tell Hiyoko a few times every day just how pretty she is, at least every morning and every night. It's her beauty that motivates me to spend the time and money on makeup, clothes, wigs, photo equipment; and to get up grab the camera, work on a pose, edit photos, etc. All that to try to capture that beautiful face, and to share it with others.

This isn't a new photo, but it is one of my favorites of my girl that I haven't posted here before...yeah, you are so pretty love....
