I had a very interesting experience recently. I bought Emily's head (XTdoll XT-2 "Nancy" head) some time ago. I fell in love with her. She has big blue eyes. But I bought a hard head, without a moving jaw. A friend on TDF had a couple of similar heads, but with a moving jaw, and he offered to replace my hard head with one of his soft, moving jaw heads. It was really very generous of him. When the head arrived, I realized it had brown eyes. That's OK, you can swap the eyes. So I did. In the picture in front of you. So, the head on the left is the new head, but with Emily's original blue eyes. The head on the right is Emily's original hard head, but with the brown eyes. Both head are made with the same mold!

To my surprise, I still saw Emily on the right! Even with brown eyes instead of her original blue! I don't know what it is. It's the smallest thing that I can't even point to that make the different. So, I returned the eyes to their original "owner," and kept Emily's original hard head, because the other head was, well, not Emily...

My 5c worth: they are in the same picture, not two separate pictures, so the lighting should be identical, except for slight angle differences. So my opinion is the biggest difference is skin color: the head on the right has a "warm" color and the one on the left a "colder" color. In light bulb language it would be "yellow white" vs. "blue white". Another small difference is that the one on the right has slightly wider eyebrows (top to bottom) and darker eye shadow, although that could be just a different shadow from the angle of the lighting.

I just think it’s amazing how such tiny things would make such huge differences… both made with the same mold!!! I believe that today I would recognize Emily among many heads made with the same mold. I remember when someone else her on TDF received a similar head, the eyebrows looked a little different and I noticed it… oh, and just move the angle a little, change the eye position, and look at how seductive she can be… I find her irresistible. Fortunately, she can’t speak, because if she could, I would probably do whatever she tells me to…

Here is my new head S8/Marjorie from Dolls Castle, that I bought for ~220$ from the manufacturer:



I added green contact lenses to make vibrant blue eyes less vibrant/more natural.

Currently the best head I own, but probably not for long as more of them are coming.


The head is not yet on a doll, as I am waiting for delivery of silicone 167 cm B-cup from Jarliet, to create some hybrid with body from one manufacturer and heads from another, and then make some better photos.
