Introducing April my 145 plus

Okay here's my first impressions of this doll. She came this morning about 10:32 a.m. which was perfect timing cause I just woke up. I took a few pics of the box which had a bit of wear and tare no biggie. Then when I opened her up she was packed to the top with fiber fill and the doll itself was wrapped in a sleeping bag (see pics below) I kept the feet and hand protection on and bent her legs and arms to pick her up to carry to my bed but since it was an awkward postition with the flap in the way I ended up pulling my back out and it still hurts.

The items she came with were a white satin rob with red lace trim, 2 inserts, 2 wigs (short and long) and the 2 bolts for the standing feet which had 2 washers and 2 nuts each. The problem with the bolts is they don't screw in all the way for some reason so I can't stand her up at the moment. For the right foot the bolt barely goes in but the left goes in further but not far enough, the bolts are about 3 inches long. I wiped her down with warm water and antibacterial soap then fresh clean water then I powdered her. My only 3 complaints is she's a bit shiny looking, stuff sticks to her easily and the seams are pretty extreme. Other than that she's very nice so far and I'm gonna try her out Tonight to see how she compares to my TPE doll.

Sorry about the mess in the pics and i'll try to take more when I get a chance. If you have any questions about her just let me know.

Congrats man! She is cute. I recently got a used 145+. She is in good shape and her skeleton is still pretty tight. Great for posing. This is my first doll with inserts. I thought the insert felt pretty good and it was such a breeze to clean. Hope you like her. April is a pretty name. Some of the shiny may go away after a good couple of powdering sessions…..

Yeah thanks I hope so it's not a big deal.

I hope I can figure out this standing feet option because it didn't come with a hanging kit.

Wish I could be of help with the standing feet, but mine does not have those. Good luck figuring it out. I would contact DS if it were me, just to make sure I didn't fuck anything up trying to get the standing feet to work.

Yeah hopefully Jeff @ BCD will chime in or Haremlover who has the standing feet option.

Congrats on April's adoption ... she is very cute and sexy.
As far as shiny-ness ... a good bath and powdering should alleviate her shine.
I eagerly await your review and comparison between DS and TPE doll. I am curious as to how soft DS silicone mix has evolved since 2015.
Cheers!
Von

I had playtime with her last night and she was much easier to clean than my TPE doll. The insert is a breeze to put in and take out. Now the softness compared to TPE is different but still soft but it has a slickness to it and doesn't get as sticky like TPE does. You still have to powder them but I feel not as much. I hope that makes sense to you. I'm so glad she has one less step of maintenance with not having to use baby oil and Vaseline.

Congrats on April's arrival and welcome to the PLUS club.

A little warning from me, the sleeping bag can stain your doll. About the bolts, you should check the threads and check for anything obscuring the threads. If the factory has used a worn threading tap it may be harder to screw. "Refreshing" the threads can be a good idea, if metric threading taps can be obtained in the US.

Thanks for the warning about the sleeping bag. I figured since she was wrapped in it when shipped it would be safe. I'll use it for something else then and put her in the satin rob she came in instead.

About the threads I haven't checked but that's a good idea about re-tapping if I can't figure out the problem. I also might try different bolts from the hardware store.
