Thanks! She can still look good for the camera despite coming up for 5 years old and I think you did a great job with the breast shape of the 155D bod, I imagine they are particularly nice with the gel option!

It's been a very hot day here in Suffolk so my gals have been doing their best to keep cool. Monique set up camp in the kitchen saying she was hot, I didn't disagree!

Absolutely! It's the perfect combo! So today marks Monique's fifth year here, she was my 3rd gal back in 2017. She was the last doll I received with non standing feet as I was soon to learn the many benefits of that particular option although I do stand here for a few hours at a time wearing a pair of size 2 trainers that have some ankle support. So how's she holding up? Pretty good actually, all her joints are still tight and overall her tpe is still good. Back in 2017 I was still oiling hands, something I later stopped doing realising the tpe here was very thin and so it could quickly become over saturated and degrade. So the tpe on her hands looks a bit weathered now, they are also quite small on the YL155DD so I'm loath to try much in the way of finger wire repairs, she currently has 3 that are broken, not too bad for a 5 year old doll! Keeping her hands in a pair of lace gloves is a good idea as it seems to stop them from getting too grubby, I'd certainly recommend it for dolls with older tpe, my newer gals seem to have benefitted from an improved tpe formula so I find I'm stretching out the period between oiling which currently stands at at least 6 months. I hope to get some new pics done of the birthday gal today but here's a phone pic this morning with her sitting in the conservatory, waiting to see if I remembered to get her a pressie!

I realised yesterday that while I like the short brunette hair that Monique currently has I did prefer her with copper red and a fringe. She had been sharing that wig with Sarah who is now reluctant to let it go so I've just ordered another!

Hey thanks Billiam, yeah I do try and keep the gals looking good, I figure if I take care of them then they will return the favour . So I've switched Monique back to her copper red wig, while I liked that brunette look on her she does seem more at home being a red head!
