I use Amazon quite often for inflatables. I've only had one experience I would consider negative (in that the third-party vendor failed to provide any product at all) and Amazon quickly delisted the item, refunded my money, and apparently applied the banhammer on the vendor.

I use sevylors VLP to reenforce the seams of a doll.
All my air babes were gifts. So i can't help there

I like very much Amazon for inflata-babes - they are awesome - fast delivery and so far hassle free - I tend to order from the same Amazon vendors over, over & over once they turn out okay after a purchase or 3 -

I don't do seam reinforcements - unless it appears its going to fail - and quick like too - but then again I never use air babes with such extremes of air pressure - rather preferring to use less air pressure as it works best for me - fit issues an all -

oh I missed all this. what a great thread!!!! We have Airee who is Lexi's sister. I don't post her much because she has an air booboo... But we got her when we ordered Lexi. She was supposed to be Lexi a tpe doll but we got scammed. I am glad we finally got Lexi but now we have both lovelies in our home. I would not give up either. They both are a joy and different. But both loved equally! PS.. Airee has a hole and I tried home made patches but maybe someone can give me a pointer on a cheap solution. Money is tight. I was going to try a bicycle patch.
