I'm giving away all my secerts but most of Chloe's clothes are just bits of material carefully placed for the photograph, sticky taped or pegged.
A close up from the coffee scene in Teds post. Her denim skirt is just a piece of denim cut from the leg of an old pair of jeans. Making use of the stitching already there and sticky taped in place. Her top was a strip of material. I dappened it down, folded over the ends and ironed it so that the top and bottom Edge would look neat. Then just wrapped it around her and used some tiny pegs to hold it on. (But it's our secret. ...don't tell anyone). ..!

Very clever, and so cute!OlmanOz wrote:That is very cool. ...! You could easily make some long stockings out of that too. . Lacy undies are very cheap at Kmart, or in your case Walmart.

And for goodness sake Chloe, put down that Gun for a while. ...! If you put it down I'll give you a nice bit of pampering with some baby powder. Wow, she got those clothes off very quick...!
Hmmmpff......."Girls"........
I keep a little powder in an old Vegemite jar just to make it easy to get at, and stop it going everywhere from constantly shaking the bottle. And the brush I use is a bit like a lipstick tube. When you twist the end the brush pulls in and out so you can make the brush stiff and heavy for brushing hair if you want or fluffy and loose just for powdering if you wind it right out. It's a great little gadget I found in my mum's drawer.
But a word of warning. I just discovered wearing gloves means you have no feeling in the ends of your fingers. So use caution when moving her arms around because you can pull out some of her hair if you're not careful, you cannot feel it if it gets trapped between your fingers and her arms.

I use a man's comb for this. In an extreme case, detangler or fabric softener might help, but I never needed it.LoneRanger wrote:Looks to me like you better get one of those untangle brushes soon! Looks like she is headed for an Afro and that will be tough to untangle...lol

Re: My first mini doll. Phicen seamless PLLB2014-S07
I am thinking a very fine comb but not plastic. something that is anti-static.
Just a thought, perhaps even a very light smear of water based moisturizer would help the hair de frizz and stay in place, particularly for photographs. I may give that a try later.
But for now I need to sleep. As last night I only had 3 hours. So while the toys are sleeping I better go do the same.
Chow for now
