It's was a fun photo shoot. No neighbors today! Yukie loves the deck.

These pictures continue to really make me want a 145 Sanhui and it looks like it'll be the fall/autumn time when I can afford to get one. I've already bought a couple of clothing items that were discounted, to inspire me to keep on saving up for one; I'm hoping they fit okay, but if not then it's not a lot of money wasted.

Using the measurements that thismeanswar posted in this thread it seems that the 145cm Sanhui falls somewhere at around at the bottom end of women's sizes, or the top end of teen sizing.

I really want to start taking photos now.

You can't go wrong. Her shorts are JRs size 11. I get them a size bigger so they slip on easier. Woman's size S shirts and tops fit good. Buying clothes can be tricky. Different brands fit differently. I learned to save my receipts and have made a few trips back to WalMart, Justice and Boscov's to do exchanges for a larger size. After buying for while, you'll be able to judge by eye. I know how you feel, I researched and saved for months for Yukie. But when that box comes and you open it and put her head and wig on for the first time, you'll be so happy. Worth waiting for.

Is Yukie's wig the one supplied with her, or did you buy it separately, Neesa? I'm always a bit worried that the doll wigs will look too 'plasticy' like the novelty wigs in the costume and joke shops, but Yukie's one looks good quality and realistic. A few forum members in another thread wrote that it isn't worth spending lots of money on expensive wigs and I'd agree that I wouldn't want to spend hundreds on something that will still get tangled up.

Regarding buying clothes for a doll, I'm guessing that after a while you learn to trust the sizes in certain shops and use those stores more often; much the same as buying clothes for ourselves we all have our favourite places to buy jeans, shirts or whatever.

I got Yukie a good quality wig. It's a Sepia Jewel style. If you google it, you'll find them for around $35.00 or a little under. They have a really good selection to choose from. Quality really enhances a dolls looks. Cheap wigs look like cheap wigs. Also some vendors do ship with quality wigs.

Also, I should mention that a good quality wig can be shampooed and conditioned. Sepia doesn't make cheap costume wig's but wigs for style and beauty.

Something like this one here would be a nice wig on a doll; probably the sort of thing I'd go for. Or maybe I'll just get loads of different ones for different occasions.

Yup, that's a good one. For the price they are really nice. I got 4 from them for Yukie. I posted the black & pink one if you want to check it out. I got her an all black and a pink venom one too which I haven't taken pictures of yet.

Yeah I saw the pink and black ones you posted on page 13. They're good and they fit well too.

Great thing about them is they look natural.
