Thank you, my friend. I always enjoy your photo shoot themes. You have a very sexy lady doll.

I have to fight this camera to get photos to come out, because it's inconsistent. Anyway, here are more of Sandra in white lingerie. I did get her some shoes, finally. Producing a photo shoot is difficult because I have little space and a shortage of privacy. It's still fun to do. Maybe, if my shoots were closer together in time, I'd remember what works and what doesn't. The camera is temperamental though, as reviews about the camera claim.

Sandra told me to go ahead and post these. We'll work on a photo theme later with something else.

Here's a few more.

I think we're done with this outfit, for now.

Not unlike your Emily. Thank you. She did a great job of posing, My camera, though, didn't perform as well as I hoped. I had the ISO at 125 and enough lighting to obtain a suitable shutter speed. The photos display well on my laptop but not as well as I expected them to on my phone. I think they could use a slight bump in both saturation and gamma. I don't like applying that on my photos, though, because some definition gets lost. Of course, I didn't notice how the phone shows them until viewing this page with it.

Thank you, DL. That's quite a compliment. I haven't been able to comfortably get a photo shoot in for a time, so this was fun. Still, I'm unhappy about my camera's performance. A DSLR just keeps looking better all the time. The fun is what matters, though. A DSLR would be funner. :)

Thank you. It was just as fun. They do look fine on my laptop.

Thank you. That's a huge compliment.

Here's what bugs me: Thinking that my phone is representative of devices some others may be using, I want the photos to display well on both my laptop and my phone. I had compared Sandra's actual color to photos displayed on my laptop and determined that the photos were representative of her color. Of course, she can look slightly different under different lighting. When I viewed this thread on my phone, I found that the first two photos look fine, but the others don't display the slight, pretty pink the way my laptop does. I know that's splitting hairs. I like how they show on my laptop, so changing them doesn't make sense. I think I'll just attribute this to the fact that not all display devices work the same. What I'll likely do is match the color of the photos to the photo in my signature and place those in my album. The photo in my signature does look the same on my phone and laptop. This happened with some photo shoots of Angie, but I thought I had overcome the issue. That's likely another reason this irritates me.

I'm unsure but suspect that a superior camera, because of dynamics, would produce photos that display more consistently across devices than my point and shoot does.

Yeah, some of my pics look a little different on my laptop compared to my phone as well. Probably because my phone is about 8 months old and my laptop is probably about 10 years old. It's an old PowerBook running on a power PC processor.....

WOW!! Great shoot Obin! You and Sandra make a good team. Great poses ... very fun ... teasing and playful.

And I agree 100% ... Obin ... you take some fantastic pics!

I have 3 monitors, 1 laptop display and 2 TV's ... and none of them display the same. I don't think one can optimize an image for equal display on all devices.

Anyway ... Sandra looks great! She exudes a very fun personality ... sexy, sweet and playful.
:glou:
Cheers!

Ok, ok :). However, I think there's a best happy balance. Maybe, that's what I would find adequate.

Checking stock photos, I see the color balance does look similar.

Copying the color at a luminosity of, I think, 197 from this photo, I show the result below it. I also noticed that my phone does not display the dynamics my laptop does. That helps to explain things.

Edit: I added a second one just for fun. I think it's time for another photo shoot.

Oops. I can't find the actual photo, using my phone. I think this one is close to what I used. I might try it next though.
Edit: After getting home, I used the photo displayed below. It was faster than searching for the other photo.

I should have viewed these on my phone before posting.

Really nice shots of Sandra! I like the poses, it's clear you take your time to compose the shots.

I've found that higher end cameras and lenses are nice but in the end they are less important than lighting. You may want to experiment with China ball lighting. (Link to B&H for more info: http://www.bhphotovideo.com/explora/vid ... hting-hack ) just be careful with the heat over extended use.

As for display differences, you may want to look into calibration with a Spyder5 at least for your computers' display, if the differences are buggin' ya. Newer mobile device displays look pretty good out of the box.

Keep shootin' :D

Nice. Those C-stands look useful too. I didn't know that Chinese culture associates white with mourning. I've learned something. Thanks! :)
