It looks like we are going to have to try and sell Erica. With young kids in the house it hasn't been easy. It is going to be bad seeing her go.

That's unfortunate. Erica is certainly built for more adult pursuits than to be happy being a guest at tea parties.

That is bad to hear. You are very proud and were excited of your doll. End of the day though; you have to do what you have to do!

Just remember, when the kids are grown and gone dolls will still be around. There certainly going anywhere.

At 140 cm Erica is a little too big to reasonably keep hidden. We have considered getting a smaller doll now as we bought Erica for artistic pursuits and photoshoots

If you bought yer for photo shoots, why not keep her and explain to the kids that way, the kids don't automatically know you can have sex with her. Keep her in clothes that cover her up

Exactly. Get a locking doorknob for your bedroom (Totally normal for parents to have, my parents had to have one because I was a little snoop as a kid), buy them some of their own (toy) dolls so they get used to/bored of them (I believe the term is 'action figures' if your kids are male)

Maybe even get them a cheapo camera and show them how to take pictures of their dolls/action figures in scenes, so they can see why daddy does it.

And let them know if they should ever touch your doll, that will be the last time their fingers ever touch a cell phone, gaming console or computer.

I also agree. I found that of all the people I know - family, friends and work - didn't know a single thing about the "sex" Doll world and fully dressed they would never know what was under the dress. People are familiar with manikins and if you told them she was a type of one but more flexible for posing - bingo - problem solved.

I had fears when I first got April, as my 10 year old granddaughter stays week ends with me. I built a wooden box told her I was going to keep adult things in it and locked it. Never had one issue or even a question as to what stuff was in it.

A lot of good feedback on this...I probably could pull off the charade with our kids but I did promise my wife to at least try to sell first. If we are unable to sell Erica then I certainly will keep her and continue to do more photo shoots

I agree with everyone that you should try to keep her.
But if you do sell, remember this doll super power.....
A dolls personality is not tightly coupled with her body. You can sell the body that Erica currently resides in and still retain her personality.
In the future if you do purchase another doll, you can then deposit Erica's personality into that body.
Keep one of Eric's favorite outfits and dress the new doll body in it. That will help with the personality transplant.
That's my view on how the world works.
