Hi hollows, it is not difficult. The background is a blind I installed permanently. My flashes mostly stay mounted on their tripods and the "stage" is my dining table.
Posing is the most part of it and just have a good eye for the details, they make the impression of the picture: visible necklaces, the hand over Ivorys shoulder, how she holds dragon, Ebonys hand partially in the pocket of the cargo pants etc. They are much easier to pose than the full size girls (remember they are 60cm tall) and the most tricky part is to get them both in balance to stand.
I am pretty sure E&I will be happy to model for you at this years meet
All of the shooting has taken less than half an hour.

Yeah, my Barbies are quite a lot easier in some ways than getting Ashaki and Vivette up, dressed and downstairs for a shoot even if they can pose a bit better! It’s so cold at the moment Ashaki and Vivette are refusing to get up unless the house is really warm!

Thanks for the hint carlys_guy. Most I have seen so far is for real persons, but some of the ideas are quite good.
I own one of these: so its all a matter of designing the parts and start manufacturing

Today was a sunny day and our living room had some decent natural lighting...







10°C and sunny today, we have had twice a little snow that didn't last for 2 month now, so where is winter? (not that I complain )

Lovely to see the girls enjoying the sunshine! Great photos GG!

I waited for the sun to get round to the right side of the house only to find that by the time it did the clouds had covered it! We had 15C yesterday but by tomorrow it’s going to be freezing again! The temperature here seems to be up and down like a yo-yo!

It is one of the advantages of this season that the sun is low and the sunshine enters my living room very deep through a big balcony door. The picture of Ivory (alone) is about 7m away from this glass door.

Glad you like it HD, winter sun is not that hard and shadows are softer than in summer (the balcony glass doors have some damping effect as well )
E&I are really easy to take pictures of, because size, weight and poseability are perfect.

Since Ebony has an app on her ?pad, she knows exactly: 225 days as of today
Its called ?pad, because the apple on the rear side is complete, not bitten into

Day count update: 127 as of today

The girls received a package from Japan (I have to check the settings on Ebony's ?pad), asked me to setup the tree road background for a shooting and vanished in the bathroom...
1 hour later, Ivory posed herself in the studio asking "What are you waiting for?"
I said "some adjustments with the lighting, then we are ready to go".
In the end, everybody was happy with the results without any discussions.

flashes at 1/4 and 1/2 of max power, one on the right side near the models (2m, 45° from background plane), one on the left side far (4m, ~75°)
