Iclone 6 - Testing Phoebe (video)
Oh boy, I spent all weekend trying to make an avatar that looks like Phoebe from her picture.
After countless failures, I finally created something, that... maybe looks like Phoebe. My eyes hurt and I cannot really tell anymore whether or not that girl resembles Phoebe.
I created a basic background and used a default cloth, hair and built in movement pattern, as I do not have much knowledge to do more with iclone thus far.
So based on this 30 sec video, on a scale from 1 - 10, how much do you think she looks like Phoebe or BT3 Sky for that matter?
Thanks[/size]

This is a easy program to learn.
Wait till you try blender I have been working on it for two years and have only scratched the surface.
If you use a flat plain like a door or a wall and put a naked pitcher of her on it.
You can use that to adjust her proportions perfectly with the adjustments.
Do a front and side view it will help a lot on fine adjustments.
Anyway great to have another icloner here.
Are you going to put out some gifts and join the party would love to see them category c photo challenge.
You should be able to do even more then me with sex I only have five.
Be careful it does get addicting specially when you can make her talk back to you.

PS I'm originally from NY Tioga county.
I moved down to OK in the eighties.
What area are you from up there?

Technically, it was modeled from a real thing, but I know what you mean deermandeerman wrote:As for the computer generated image of Phoebe, I prefer the real thing!
Thanks SmittyT, I figure it should be somewhere within those boundaries.SmittyT wrote:From what I've seen from your album, she's not so far off. I'd say a 6 maybe 7 taking into consideration there's always going to be some loss in resemblance with computer animation... good job..
Yes, I did install it on Saturday. And it was easy to start with up until I tried to create a face over character. First of, no v6 character has a feature to import face (lousy).jm6o8u wrote:Not bad I'm assuming for your first try.

Had to use v5 character Gwynn to create Phoebe's face over. In any case I used front and side pictures of Phoebe.
But every time she was coming out look like a guy or sort of transvestite when I applied a hair.
Then I used front picture only and got a character that is more or less resembles Phoebe. But still cannot use all features of v6 with her.
Body proportion was easy to use, just needed a little patience. As to the rest of blending/animating/physics/audio, I have not even touched that part yet.
There is a whole lot to explore and learn. So, I'm not sure if I could produce anything decent for this month for Cat-C. And yes, it is addictive. But let's see if I can get along with it.
PS I am up in the Queens, NYC

This time in Character Creator. Hmmm, not quite there yet.
Still playing with program and searching for perfection.

Pretty close Mr. G
After a 5 minute stare... It looks like her mouth and nose are off slightly. slim down her neck a little & darken her hair.
But what the hell do I know anyway
Great Job

No, no you are right, there are a lot of imperfections in both attempts. It is very hard. One should have artistic skills and experience in painting/sketching to be successful. I have none of those. But I found it very entertaining and would continue anyway.
