Sub-forum not automaticly marked as read

This bug is kinda similar to previous bugs related to mark as read, but didn't want to necro those topics. And mostly the problem is internet explorer, which I am not using.
First: the topics self work fine, unread topics are indicated as such, and reading them marks them read. However when I have checked all unread topics in a sub-forum, it doesn't update the sub-forum as read. I have to manually click the link "mark topics read". Not a big deal, but still.
OS; Windows 8.1 Pro
Browser; Google Chrome (40.0.2214.115 m)
