Harem, you are a very deep thinker. Good for you. You speak the truth on many things and I like when you talk spirituality as well. I will definitely watch this thread.....

Being gone and still, when you're next travelling on a road, look not at the vehicles moving, but on the space moving in contrast. It's just as valid looking at the movement of the space as it is looking at the movement of the vehicles, but it rarely occurs to us to do so. The space moves in the opposite direction.

This is familiar to semiconductor physicists looking at electrons and holes moving through a semiconductor but it's applicable in other situations.

Dolls can be our spaces.

There are times when I try to bring a heritage of profound thinking to the forum. A particular thread where on three posts I have dared to broach controversial issues trying not to upset too many people seems to have made a useful contribution - http://dollforum.com/forum/viewtopic.ph ... 71#p967171

Whilst dolls in the form and effigy of wildly attractive ladies are capable of being viewed sexually, a reality is that they can be an unexpected stimulus to extraordinarily deep thinking and from which many benefit greatly.

Sometimes people are complimentary about my photos, some of my favourites being on http://dollforum.com/forum/viewtopic.ph ... 53#p986253 and http://dollforum.com/forum/viewtopic.ph ... 77#p989677 gives a little insight into how I approach doll photography.
The secret, if one wants that sort of doll, is in choosing a doll who comes to life as a person with whom one relates. And then, you have to think as her, for her, in order for her to come to life.

This summer I took Chloé http://dollforum.com/forum/viewtopic.ph ... &start=202 down to the beach and on a lilo sunbathing she copied the positions of as many people sunbathing on the beach. Memorising these as sculpture then enables one to echo those positions.

Image

Image

DS Neri in the post above http://dollforum.com/forum/viewtopic.ph ... 53#p986253 is a wonderful lady.
Image
They have forgotten to put her on their website so you have to ask Steven for her by name but her smile always brings contentment into one's life. The clue to taking very sexy photos, which Neri wickedly enjoys, is to take her to bed and cuddle her. That love expresses itself and whatever position she's achieved for her to feel comfortable and contented results from her effect on you. So carrying her from one's messy bed to a pristine spare bed for photos results in the photos in the posts above. Perhaps you might see poetry in the contentment of her posing.

Another secret is the light. I try always to use natural light and our girls are the most wonderful of models with patience willing to wait for the light to be right. Exactly right. And its this where the light right in an instant
Image

brings that element of the instant
Image
which brings the girl to life.

Image

So these cease to be corpses as my wife would like to insist, nor are they dolls, in the instant in which the light is right and the pose is achieved they are people who have a previous position and a future position, a past and unkown to come.

And in their nakedness I hope never is expressed a pornography, merely a joy of living, the pleasure of freedom of the human being.

Image

And in that, a heaven
Image

Where did we meet these girls?
Image

Probably in the Tepidarium of one of the Roman Baths anywhere in the Empire.

Of course now is apparent the reason for my advice not to be seduced merely by the boobs.

Something that I care about a lot is that members spending a lot of money on a doll aren't ripped off with things that won't last or be horrible or poor value for money so I keep an eye on dodgy areas with my ear to the ground . . . viewtopic.php?f=129&t=77942&p=996673#p996673

Sometimes threads come up where people are crying out for help, and a doll can help a lot but perhaps not entirely all the way. So recently a thread came up upon the subject of depression, which seems quite a common reason for people to come to dolls as therapy or palliative. A lot of thought went into some substantive replies https://www.dollforum.com/forum/viewtop ... 4#p1267654 and
https://www.dollforum.com/forum/viewtop ... 3#p1268353 . I won't requote them here as not everyone might be depressed, but perhaps they might be interesting to some.

In recent months Chloé has published her book available from https://www.the-doll-house.com/literatu ... lover.html and https://cloudclimax.com/products/chloe-short-stories with a thread here about the book https://www.dollforum.com/forum/viewtop ... 65&t=94510 and a review page https://www.dollforum.com/forum/viewtop ... 87&t=93881

Chloé has a life very unlike many other dolls https://www.dollforum.com/forum/viewtop ... 8#p1222118
Image
so the book is one that you can leave lying around the house, entirely innocently of any of the issues normally surrounding the subject of dolls, and is a great ice breaker for anyone wanting to start the sort of conversation that some people fearful of their partners possibly need to have.

You add another perspective to this Forum bringing an openness and respect for us as individuals who all see something different in each of our Dolls - these are valuable contributions - thanks

Hi Harem ,
What a great read , with some deep and thought provoking comments
Although I am not religious , I am spiritual , I believe we were all born in the hart of a sun :D
And it's the light from the sun that powers us all :D

I am also a friend of the Earth and do my best to help to keep our home clean and tidy .
As I think we owe it to the generations to come :D

So you may be asking , how this relates to my dolls :?:
As a Sea kayak instructor I am often away from home for long periods of time .
This often makes relationships hard on my partners and myself .
My dolls allow me the freedom to devote my time to others , I love to teach :D
And in my efforts I hope I teach others , to take better care of our environment .

My dolls to me are people , and are treated with respect and loving care ..
They for fill the need in me to care for others , making me a better person :D

Your words of wisdom , and great photographs , do us all proud :D
Keep up the good work Harem
King regards
Bob

Sometimes people PM me with their problems or even invoke my response on open forum. viewtopic.php?f=14&t=97243&start=14 was a situation on which the member concerned did just that, and I hope my response is helpful to him, as well as possibly others, and viewtopic.php?f=141&t=97178 on the subject of prejudices against dolls as idols and on the subject of religious prejudices.

Hi Harem,

As a long time lurker on TDF (that finally decided to sign up) - I just wanted to pop in here first and say thank you for all of your hard work, and covering these aspects of ownership that usually gets buried by certain groups, media FUD and catchy headlines that muddy the waters :?

Posts from you and several other members here have really helped to change the narrative - dolls/poseable mannequins aren't "sex objects". They're so much more. I described it as simply a living work of art and beauty tied to their owner - a visible expression of their owners' consciousness and individuality.

I'm curious about your Chloe book - do you have a digital edition available yet?
