I wondered this, too, at first, but I don't know how it could be, or the silicone dolls would suffer from it, too. It makes sense that they need to keep the vag/anus separate from each other, to avoid tearing in between, but that wouldn't explain the location of the the set of them together, off by and inch or more, or approximately 3 cm.

Hi, Obin. Yes, I imagine they are individual chambers, and the potential tearing I referred to would be of the perineum, not inside the chambers, if that's what you thought I meant. My suggestion, however, has nothing to do with the distance between vagina and anus. It has everything to do with the placement of the entirety of the groin anatomy. So the vagina and anus can still be the same distance away from each other, but they both should, in my opinion, be placed further back toward the sacrum. I hope I explain myself well enough.

I am surprised at the lack of "reaction" to my observation. A few have stated they agree, but most folks don't give an opinion on the matter. Maybe they don't care ....?

I'm always cautious about upsetting anyone, so it took me quite a while to decide if I wanted to post this opinion or not. I finally decided that it's a prevalent enough issue(several different dolls), that I couldn't keep quiet. Now I have to decide if, and how, I might convey my observations to the other companies.

ORdoll, I hope you see my observation as a constructive one. I do find your doll very attractive, in general.

I'll let you know my opinion after my doll arrives and I test drive it. It probably has to do with the the mechanics of the skeleton. The doll's hips and lower back don't tilt to make a proper fit from a lower positioning of the entry points. It would require a more complicated skeleton. More moving parts means a greater chance of a part failure. So maybe a more practical answer is to position the entries higher up.

BTW, the legs look great. So did the sneak peak of the intimate parts.

I suspect tubee is right. I remember one silicone doll maker that specializes in very realistic dolls had a reputation of dolls that were challenging to use in the missionary position. It may be because the vaginal opening was located properly, but because dolls generally can't tilt their hips the way a real woman can, as tubee is noting, the mechanics of it weren't working out properly.

It's possible that some doll makers have chosen to move the openings forward to compensate. Visually, it would be nice if they were located more accurately, as long as the missionary position was still doable. (Unintended pun, but I'll go with it. )

Not necessarily, they are completely different materials with different properties and different engineering requirements.

Exactly. I’d very much prefer functionality to anatomical correctness. I have owned two high-end silicone dolls (one Japanese and one American) which both were irritatingly and unnecessarily difficult to get into in the missionary due to the “correct” placement of the vagina.

Moving the entries back is good for aesthetic reasons but it would make the doll even more difficult for sex unless you also angle the vagina
