Custom made faces.

Re: Custom made faces.
This reminds me of the website I once stumbled upon that was nothing more than a timer counting down the minutes until the Olson twins turned 18!

You must have us posters here confused with some other Olson fan...Szalinski wrote:a timer counting down the minutes until the Olson twins turned 18!
Emma is 24, and this description "kind of a big-butted, post Harry Potter career, depressed, chocolate eating, Emma Watson" doesn't sound prohibitively young, or small, to me

Re: Custom made faces.
I believe that works created by hand are considered creations regardless of whom or what the creations resemble. Often, in art, the objective is to create something that resembles something else. I found an interesting, short article that does discuss one felonious crime called forgery. The statement that appears to sum things up is this:Hulk wrote:(since identical likeness could cause legal issues)
Source: http://artadvisor.wordpress.com/2012/09 ... ry-career/...it is not illegal to sell reproductions of an artist’s work. It is only illegal to misrepresent them as by the hand of the artist.
On the other hand, if one person can claim that an artist's work resembles his or her face, then, I guess, the 98,327 others who have similar looking faces can make the same claim. It's a stretch to consider that such claims make an artist liable for anything. If there has ever been such a case, I'd like to see it. I spent some time using bing and google and failed to find one. I don't think that such a law exists.
Here's another, concerning faces. http://blogs.law.harvard.edu/infolaw/20 ... your-face/
Please, provide evidence of the claim.
Very nice face choices, by the way.
