Alex Wain for So Bad So Good wrote:Gifted photographer Zackary Canepari was equally interested in the mystery and appeal of the Real Doll phenomena. That interest took him to Abyss Creations in San Marcos, California where he was allowed access to the factory where the ‘girls’ themselves are created.
His dark and brooding series ‘Love Machines’ uniquely captures a realm far removed from the inevitable suburban environments the dolls will finally call home. Through his lens & vision, he provides an evocative if disconcerting peak into an industry that is much about our most basic desires and needs, as it is about profit, enterprise and innovation.

"Pour yourself a drink, put on some lipstick, and pull yourself together." -- Liz Taylor
"Home, where my love lies waiting silently for me." -- hipsters Simon & Garfunkel, singing about doll ownership before it was cool.
A version of an article written 3 years ago. Most of the same words.. All of the same photographs. I guess if you can't come up with something new.. use someone else's ideas.
All of 4 paragraphs in this (latest) article which is twice as many as in the original. So... where's the rest of the story?
Does ANYone think that 4 paragraphs and 14 images is "comprehensive" journalism? How about "adequate"? How about... why bother wasting people's time with this supremely gross lack of content?
As Szalinski stated; neutral. IMO, neutral to the point of being a total non-issue. It is like saying, "it was sunny today" in a place that sees 20 cloudy days a year. Huh?
Whatever. I have bigger problems to worry about than whether a story you may or may not have seen before has ever been published elsewhere before.
Thanks for reading.

To clarify.... the use of the word "you" in my original post referred to the second (unimaginative) author not the OP. I enjoy reading the weird stuff Rainlover uncovers.
By all means let's be open-minded, but not so open-minded that our brains drop out.
