That is awesome news shimu3z!!!!.... I know from experience.. For me the anticipation ramped up a notch and made the wait worse..I thought after it might have been better if they had just e-mailed me when she was ready too ship.

Anyway great news.. I hope it's not two agonizing.

Thanks, Smoke. I am happy that you posted! I am excited, but I am very busy with some things right now and that helps. I'm not just sitting around waiting. At least that is what I tell myself!

The waiting is undoubtedly the longest time of your life.

Abyss delivery times seem to vary.

My owner waited FIVE MONTHS!!!

Fortunately Abyss has since promised faster turn around times and based on the response of members here over the last two years, buyers seem to only be waiting two months.

Be sure to stay in touch here to help you prepare for the uncrating. It is a project. The wait seems never ending, and then when the big day comes it's all too soon.

I think I'll meet him mid July or so -sometime around that. He is in production so it shouldn't be too long. I did request they not ship him until after July4th as I have so much going on and wanted to wait until I have some privacy. I'll keep you posted!

He is ready to ship!!! I had to request they hold him until the second week in July because I just have too much going on at my house right now and no privacy. So SOON!!! He's gorgeous.

So soon indeed, it may be a good thing that you are busy at home in these last few weeks, so that a ditch doesn't appear in your floor from the pacing.

Oh, and please take AlexKnight's sage advice for when he arrives and keep a spatula handy when you open the crate... so you can pick your jaw up from the floor.

Exactly why....if your not busy... you need too tile the floor while waiting. This keeps you from pacing. And if the tiling is completed before he arrives and you do start pacing.... you have a solid surface too prevent that ditch!! Sage advice indeed from Alex Knight no Question....The spatula and the floor tile. This will also keep your jaw from smashing thought the floor and ending up in the basement!!
