I have never had this problem on TDF before, but lately the system will not keep me logged in for any length of time. In fact I sometimes get booted off in the middle of writing a post or when I try to submit it. Then I have to log back in and start all over again.
This is most frustrating, but it doesn't seem to be happening to me on any other sites or forums.
Is This happening to anyone els, or is it just me?

I read over post for about an hour every day..
I close the page and come back each day and im always logged in..
Maybe clean your net cache and cookies and then log back on?

You should indeed remove your temporary internet files and if that doesn't work, the forum cookies as well.

If you're being logged out in the middle of reading/typing then something is clearing your cookies. Have you recently installed any plugins to manage cookies? Something like Cookie Monster. Those tools can be configured to remove cookies after a short period of time whether they're actively being used or not.

Thank you guys for the suggestions. I tried deleting cash and cookies, and disabling plugins, but the problem still persists. I am almost tempted to throw my computer out the window and get a new one, but it still seems to work OK for everything else.

Like no one saw this comming....

Had it happened to me on some occasions, got AlexKnight to fix it for me a few months back.

What browser are you using?

I am using Safari.

Ah yes, the Safari browser and TDF don't really see eye to eye, it has often created problems.
Why it does this, I don't know, but it's definitely browser related.

A different browser will solve this problem, like Firefox, Chrome, or Opera.
