I have registered Jesse on Matrix but here are his stats.

I bought him with the stand which seems very strong. Debra at Abyss says he weighs 95 lbs.
I will be adding pubic hair. I may glue but I also have the punch needles here too. I already make wigs for my Ball jointed dolls so I have a supply of mohair and saran hair.

Yay! He is very handsome, I like his blue eyes. That's a great idea to make the ship date a birthday (or should it be the order date?-lol) Anyway, have lots of fun!

I managed to talcum powder Jesse yesterday and he has lost most of that original tacky touch. However I noticed a small tear under the left foot at the base of the metal skeleton. The silicon in this area is fairly thin. I have never tried to support his weight standing and can only assume that the rip happend in general handling. They warn up about the hands but the feet are just as vulnerable too. I can use an adhesive and it will be OK - not so noticable under the foot.

I haven't logged on for a time and then saw THAT! Congrats on your guy! Dark hair and blue eyes are a beautiful combination.

I was not so impressed with Nate's face when he arrived - not much resemblance to the Nate on the web site and I can only suppose the art work was done by someone else. I'm always doing face-ups on my ball jointed dolls so I tried myself out on silicon. Not such an easy surface. I did manage to thicken his eyebrows and blush and shade here and there and I got rid of his small blond eye lashes and gave him a pair of thicker dark ones. His nipples were a bit pale and I have given him pubic hair. He now has a brunette curly wig I bought on Ebay. I am totally in love with Jesse now but I must have strained myself in early days trying to lift him and I haven't taken him off his doll stand since my friend helped me hang him there. At least he is safe there and great to look at.

I like the darker eyelashes-awesome job. Changing wigs/hairstyles is fun too. I do think my Aki looks like the "Nate" on Abyss' site- maybe it's the lack of facial hair? I also think he looks better in profile or angled photos vs. straight on. I tried to move his eyes once so he was looking at the camera, but that doesn't work- I only succeeded in having to repair his eyelashes!
I'm so impressed with the painting/make-up you do on all your dolls. Jesse looks great.

Here is Jesse in a new faux leather thong. I hope Photobucket don't block it as they have done with 'bare' photos of my ball jointed dolls in the past.

Hi Charon! Your Nate looks great I think facial hair is very becoming for him. I also love the fact that you chose body A. I think body B is way too slim and not as impressive.
