How does one get into using dolls???

I have found this forum to be excellent with a whole wealth of knowledge and experience which has helped me a lot. There is clearly lots of people who share my love of dolls world wide. I was just curious as to how each of you first got into the world of inflatable dolls?????
For me I had always had a love of inflatable toys and mainly lilos from an early age. I would find myself purchasing lilos and laying on them naked which was a great turn on. The feeling of the vinyl against me was exceptionally stimulating! I can then remember seeing inflatable dolla features on tv like in the British comedy "only fools and horses" and other programs and thinking how great it would be to have one! So when I was of the age I could legally buy one I ordered one which was home delivered, needless to say it was an exciting experience and truly mind blowing!
From then on I would get one as and when I needed to but they were an addition to girlfriends and human sexual partners, they were and still are secret guilty pleasures, insanely addictive and still as satisfying as my very first one! I have probably had over 100 dolls over the past 11 years or so!
I would love to hear all of your stories too if you would care to share them!

Im not sure how to address this..
Hmm..
I would probably say its not really about the fact the dolls are air filled or not..
Or the materials...
But just the fact that me myself have always had a thing for dolls and store maniquins and such..
I used to stuff body suits. Clothes and stuff to put mask on them and things all the time..
Just the fact it was human sized and could be moved around and posed anyway I wanted
was not only infactuating "I cant spell for shit lol" but yeah a couple of them actually where a turn on..
I belive that a lot of people simply have this chemical thing in there head from when they are born.
And you are more likely to enjoy or want these types of things over your lifetime..
Id bet there are tons of people like us but simply are in relationships with real people so dont
pursue there feelings for dolls..
A lot of guys will laugh and say they would never own or touch some of these dolls on the market today.
But to be honest.. Id bet a large amount of them would..
I could show my one friend that said it was stupid and would never touch one. Id bet I could take a pic
of some of these dolls that users own right here in this forum and put them on my phone and the next
time I saw him show him the pics and say omg check out this hot girl..
And he wouldnt even know the diff..
Dolls used to be nothing more but not so great looking blow ups..
Today the doll industry isnt all about blowups anymore..
You can literally buy your dream girl..

As for blow ups..
I have one that ive had for around 6 years or more..
They are nice because you can deflate them and take them places without anyone even knowing they
are in the bag or box laying in the back seat of your car lol..
Inflates have a whole diff feel to them that some like and some dont..
I like the feel of the Vinyl on my skin like you talk about..
But I dont like how she squishes when you cuddle her.."Unless you realy fill her up tight".

The Silicone dolls are just awesome but the cost and weight and maintenance are a turn off
to some people like myself even..

Beings I have always played around with stuffed dolls durring my lifetime I have decided to try out a Teddy Babe Deluxe Model..
It will be a lot nicer to cuddle then my blow up "Personal Taste" but she will not have the advantage of being able to
deflate her and fold her up and put her into a very small box and take her places..

So I dont belive that my fetishes or feelings towards dolls will truely be geared towards just one type of doll

Nice! Do you stick to mostly girl on top with her? I really think that's the biggest key to longevity with inflates.

My first was the Hannah Harper inflate a little over a year ago. Her face is visible through the box in pics posted at the various adult toy sites. I just liked it and decided to give her a go.

Hi guys i first got into dolls when my girlfriend left me, she hurt me pretty badly and i got one as a sleeping companion. And a surrogate sex partner.
I started off with cheap vinyl creations then i moved on to high end vinyl dolls.

The first time I had 'interesting' experiences with inflatables was before I got to go to school.
I remember that day my parents were packing suitcases for holidays when I sat on an inflatable ball (maybe a little bigger than a soccer ball but kinda big for me at that age). It was inflated and I opened the valve so that the air slowly left from inside to outside.

My experience was quite similar. Growing up in Florida, I always found pool floats and beach balls close at hand, and grew to enjoy how they felt under me, and noticed that certain parts of me liked it more than others. I got my first doll as soon as I was old enough to pass for 18, and though she didn't have any openings (it was from an old party store called "Let's Have a Party," which was eventually pushed out of the market by Party City), I was hooked. Most of my dolls since then have had love openings, though I don't always use them. I still love all things inflatable.

I never thaught of myself as a doll guy till I started working security for a local porn shop. That job opened my eyes to ALOT of things. Guys would come in looking for a doll. It was sticker shock to find out some of the high end inflatables were $140.00. As I worked, I got curious and one perticuler doll caught my eye. A cheap inflatable "party doll". It is all down hill from there lol. Thanks to tdf I have discovered many diffrent dolls not just inflatables. Although I always hold inflates close to my heart. To cut a long story short. Through photography. I got into photography when I got a digi cam. I'd tried using real models in the camera club, but I was disapointed with my results. Two different ways which are related.

One is that I was given one as a gag gift for a birthday party. It was a super cheap model and I was too young/ignorant to know how to use it (i.e. I didn't know about lube). So it was given away.

I did develop an interest in sex toys, though, and came back to it after I learned about lube. I got a better one this time (an Alexa). For me it was always just a type of sex toy--a really big one, and one that required different techniques to use than, say, a Fleshlight or one of the other sleeves that I had at the time.

I never had the interest in dressing it up (though in retrospect, I think it would have been better if I had), or cuddling with it, or photographing it, or fulfilling an inflatable or latex fetish. I'm not looking down on anyone who does--we just all come/cum from different directions into this place.

I look at sex toy catalogs and it's like being a kid looking at the Christmas catalogs with all the toys. Sometimes I had more fun imagining playing with them than I did when I got them for real.
