Re: Edit button
The edit button is set for a hour after you make a post. Or 24 hours still trying to conferm this.
I open a second tab, one for the main page. And the other tab for recent post.
The home button will take you to the top of the page, and the end button to the bottom.
cheers mg4

I was always able to edit any of my posts regardless of age
ie: update broken links to pics etc.
Will there be a time limit now ?? ... If so THAT SUCKS .

Sorry about the time limit. This is a standard forum feature most forums have these days, made necessary owing to the nature of some people who decide they don't like a community anymore to vandalize it by trashing their posts. When a member starts a thread and and others post in respond to it, the deletion or editing blank of that first post can render the entire thread meaningless which is unfair to all those who responded to it.dollstar wrote:Why the time limit now ?? ...

However we have increased the time limits to 1 day for deletion and 3 days for editing.
If a member needs any link fixes or changes to any posts beyond the time frame, it is simply a matter of notifying a moderator or admin and they will be happy to oblige the fixes.
I hope this sits better with you. We are striving to keep TDF a pleasant and informative place and maintaining its posting database is part of that.
