i did some research and there are some humanoid robot kits other there that will give you the parts and the softwear needed to build such a doll the least costly one i found was arounf 450 from a outfit in canada

of course you will have to fashion longer legs and arms but nothing a dremil could not handel
but you will have everything you need in servos and controlls to build one

i am under heavy debate as to if i want to build one myself it would be fun to have and prgram it to do all kinds of stuff give it little sword and have it sword fight a stuffed animal

This guy manufactures them and all in the body of the doll, no square legs or need to hide the beautiful body like the ones in the first page.

While these dolls are cute the only ones available according to the website are the articulated dolls. (when calculated about the same as dollfie) The robotic dolls are not available yet......we can only hope..and build bank accounts!

there's always some crazy stuf being released at Wonderfest in Tokyo .. they have the convention twice a year.. what's sad is there's always a few booths of peopel displaying items i really want to buy, but they never get the financial backing and so I never see the dolls or the products again *sigh*!!
